Morning everyone. Happy Friday!

Last night I had some REALLY bad muscle cramps in my calves and toes that had me shaking and groaning in pain. I was very well hydrated, so I guess I was low on electrolytes and magnesium/potassium. Yikes. I mean, I get low level Charlie horses and toe cramps regularly but this was beyond anything I have ever experienced.

QOTD: Not sure the best way to describe it--Type A/determined/plucky? Pick your favorite alternative to "bossy" which is a word I hate...

My Halloween Pic is of my kitten who was willing to let me dress him up this year :) I know it looks like he has crazy eyes, but I swear he was pretty chill about the whole thing!

LOL! I was called an "opinionated *****" by a chauvinist once. The next manager hired me because he said that was exactly what he was looking for!

In my line of work, I would take opinionated ***** as a compliment!

I'm just not brave enough to attempt to dress my crazy cats in anything at all.

Love the pic-so cute! I am wondering if the leg/toe cramps are related to your low iron issues? I didn't realize those were symptoms until the dr asked me when we were talking about my low iron. I hope they feel better today.

Hilarious kitty!

Sorry to hear about your leg cramps, they sound very severe. I too have had many awful episodes of calf cramping, which have not returned since my RnY. Knocking wood! I don't understand why they vanished, but I'm very grateful! I hope yours go, too, never to return.

I LOVE photo Friday! I think it gives another dimension in our relationships on OH. Yes, I cannot wait for work to be over. I am bored right now (I HATE being bored). And there are some announcements coming in that make me want to speak up (which I am doing but trying not to step on anybody while doing it). I work a short day today and Thursday and Friday of next week ****il 11), with 3 long days on Monday-Wednesday next week. On this coming Monday I have also been arm twisted into attending a dinner after work. On my last day, I just plan to go in mid-morning to turn in equipment and sign papers (no real work).

My pictures are from the Lantern Fest DH and I went to a couple of weeks ago.

QOTD: Best personality trait that I like (not necessarily others) is probably that I am smart, organized and driven. Once I set a goal (which at home might be just putting it on a list), I try to get there as quickly as possible. Usually this was a good thing at work, but sometimes has made my family crazy. And though it worked for a while on previous diets, eventually I would lose focus and gain all the weight and more back. Which is why with my WLS tool, tracking, weighing and posting daily I hope to keep on track indefinitely.

1 year, 7 months post-op (maintenance). 6 work days to retirement (11/13) - 3 short days and 3 long ones.

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: ? (Out to dinner)

S: one of the OH handouts: maybe the nuts which Cecily says are quite good
