I can relate to being uncomfortable having a picture taken, I still tend to shy away from the camera. I like the costume idea and I personally think it's a nice picture-I like the brick backdrop.

"Where's Waldo" was a great costume choice! I think you look very cute! But I for sure understand - I too do my best to avoid being photographed now, especially full length. Looking forward to when I no longer feel that way!

I never had any voluntary full-body shots when I was over 300 lbs - except for a couple I had my husband take the night before surgery (or it might have been the night before my two-week pre-op diet). Now I am SO glad I have them - plus a few random ones I found on our staff server (from things like retirement parties when I didn't know my picture was being taken). I treasure my "before" pictures now and wish I had more of them.

Have someone take full-body shots of you from all four sides right before your surgery - and then take them again every month on your surgery date until you reach maintenance. I am so glad I tracked my journey this way. It's hard to see differences from month-to-month, but if you compare your current picture to one taken 4 months ago - or six months ago - or a year ago - HUGE difference. And it's really rewarding to see your progress.

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!

Teena, your husband's Halloween outfit is awesome!

QOTD: I like to think that my best quality is that I am kind-hearted and love animals.

I am going to go horseback riding again tomorrow! I'm looking forward to that!

PHOTOS: My photos are of Tippy's Halloween outfits. The bee outfit was a little too small for her but she is still wearing her "Lil' Monster" outfit. She loves it and looks so cute in it. I put a big bowl of candy out for the trick-or-treaters so the ringing doorbell wouldn't set off the dogs. But it snowed on Halloween and was bitter cold and windy so we didn't get very many kids this year.

Accountability: I ate too many calories yesterday. Will try to do better today.

Protein - 98, Calories - 1,255, Carbs - 127.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: hamburger patty with melted cheese, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: cheesy ranch chicken

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

~ Karen
