What's on your Friday Menu RNYers?Halloween/Fall Photo Friday!
Good morning everyone - another work week done! Liz you're getting so close to retirement! You must be so excited. We are looking forward to our oldest's high school graduation tonight. I wish they did the grad in June like most schools, and I told my daughter that I'm starting a petition for her grad in 2019. She thinks I'm kidding.
QOTD: What personality trait about yourself do you like the best, and why? I like to think I'm a kind person, and most people tell me that I am. It's something I try really hard to do. I am also fairly outgoing. I do have some shyness in me (my kids would not believe me lol) but I try to keep it hidden. My co-workers are always surprised by how many people I know outside of our department. I make an effort to remember people's names, and if I know their name I use it when I say hello. I think it's good to focus on positive stuff because I know for myself I have a tendency to know all the negatives about Teena and sometimes have to dig deep to think about the positives. :)
My photos are of my husband. Owen went as Elvis but I don't have those pics on my phone and DH hasn't sent them to me. Charles dressed up to hand out candy, and then left the back gate open. Our dryer was running, and there was all kinds of steam coming up the side of the house. When I came back from picking up Owen, it looked very eery! We didn't even know but it was quite cool. We ended up with about 50-60 kids overall and my husband loved every minute of it.
Accountability - 1 snack size chocolate yesterday- still stayed under my calories and carbs goal.
Menu:
B: I had a protein shake this morning, don't know if I will add anything else
L: Leftover chicken crack slaw- we had it for dinner last night - I just used chicken breast instead of ground beef and we all really liked it.
D: No plans- probably the beef stew I was supposed to make last night if I get home early enough.
S:Greek yogurt with raspberry jello - I didn't eat it yesterday and this is the last one unless I make some more tomorrow.
Weight was down 168.6 today- finally back out of the 170s, and at overweight for BMI.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Happy Friday menu folks! I don't have any Halloween pictures because I was sick with a cold, but I'm posting my 8-month pictures from my surgeon's visit. This is basically my goal picture.
Teena, congrats on your high school grad! That is exciting!
