Good morning. I didn't have many trick or treaters so I brought the leftover candy to work where the vultures will gobble it up!
Qotd: I definitely like salty more post surgery. I was always a sweets person before. Now I like both!!
B nothing
L chicken salad, bell pepper
S deli ham, egg, apple
D hamburger with tomato sauce
S cottage cheese, greek yogurt if I need it.
Vitamins started and water bottle full. Have a great day.

HI Everyone,
QOTD: Still tempted by bread and butter, crackers and such. Don't miss the sweets even though I had started to develop an addiction to those because my husband's family (and of course him) are addicted to sweets. I really miss oatmeal, cereal, etc...pancakes , french toast. :(
Menu for today:
Coffee and protein shake 140 calories and 30 grams protein
Lunch: probably egg beaters and ham
Snack: some sort of meat
Dinner: Chicken or fish but not sure with green beans
Snack: Maybe second protein shake
90 grams of protein less than 700 calories 100 ounces of water, vitamins and a work out at the gym

Accountability- I ate Halloween candy yesterday. I never bought any to hand out, but poached from people's desks. Holiday is over, and I will not fall prey to the 1/2 off candy sales! Otherwise my day was good.
QOTD: Yes the foods that tempt me have changed, some for the better, some for the worse. I used to be able to take or leave chips before- now I'm a bit obsessive about them. But I used to LOVE a big old stack of pancakes- now 1 to 1.5 is my limit, and even that leave me feeling icky/gassy.
M1: 1 egg, 5 turkey sausage links, 1 pancake (which has left me belching like a mad woman!)
M2: tuna, boiled egg, cheese stick and cashews
M3: Teriyaki chicken breast w/ peppers
M4: Mini meat loaves

I have yet to meet a protein pancake that sits well since surgery. I keep trying of course hahahaha.... I made myself French toast last week with a lite English muffin and eggbeaters.... it was very satisfying. It worked.

Good morning!! I was able to survive all the temptations without much thought really. We also had a great turn out in fact we ran out of candy and had to turn kids away at the end ;( It broke our hearts to do that.
QOTD - My things have always been chips/crackers and chocolate/ice cream, I have not had a hard resisting candy (after last night I'm quite proud!) but I've had Halo Top a few times but didn't care for it that much. I desperately crave chips and crackers - it's the salt. I have had a few cheats along the way with these items.
Accountability - Although I stayed spot on with my planned food, my body must have needed salt because I couldn't seem to put enough salt on my food at lunch or dinner. I'm paying for it today with a gain though. I had way more coffee than usual yesterday but still got in well over 120 ounces of fluids.

Good morning! Back to work tomorrow but it'll be a 2 day work week- hopefully enough time to catch up on emails and all I missed being out three days. The girls had fun trick-or-treating last night, all the people handing out candy were so friendly.
QOTD: The thought of eating donuts now makes me nauseous but that's all that really comes to mind.
Menu: B: latte, eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and 1/2 an orange L: 1/2 Panera Fuji apple chicken salad S: Salami, string cheese, pork rinds and nuts D: Turkey Breast, mashed cauliflower with shredded cheese and bacon bits, small piece of low carb German choc cake (if I get it made today) ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jelly and fiber cereal.
E: an hour stair-climber and 40 mins elliptical

LOL - I always sweat a lot whenever I exercise. People used to say that women "glisten" when they work out. That may be true for some, but my hair and my clothes are always soaked after a good workout (especially when I used to run 15 years ago).
