Finally down 30lbs!
I am 5 months out from my revision (Gerd) and finally hit the 30lb weight loss goal I had. I had gained around 35lbs the past two years from medications and being incredibly sick. I am super excited to have lost almost all of it again.
For anyone that has something negative to say about how slow my weight loss is, just don't. I lose weight very slowly, eat the correct protein, calorie and weight portions, drink my water and workout. After my original surgery I was only ahead by 8lbs at this point. That's just how my body works. No rhyme or reason to it.
So back to celebrating and feeling good again woohoo? ??
That's what I say too! Every ounce is a victory to me. There's always some bad apples that have to make negative comments.
I love going to this site when I wanna figure out how much I lost and need a visual help. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3421351
You have lost the amount of cheese an average American eats in one year!!! That?s a lot and it?s cause for celebration! Go you!!

I think losing weight slowly is probably the right way to do it. The way our body likes it.
30 lbs on revision in 5 months is very good, imo. Like 6 pounds a month. 1.5 per week.
When I was losing my re-gain- I was really happy to see 1 lb a week.
