off to an early morning yoga class in a few - then meeting DH and possibly a friend for coffee afterward. Not much else on tap for today other than a Halloween party tonight.
QOTD: I vaguely remember a popcorn diet from high school or college (it was something I made up - not some fad). Also, fasting. I remember doing this at least a couple of times in college. I know you didn't ask this, but my *favorite* diets were Pritikin and Deal-a-Meal (they weren't crazy diets, though...)
I had two things of instant miso soup yesterday afternoon to keep myself from eating. Up a couple of pounds this morning - SODIUM!
2 years 4 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries, blueberries
S: coffee with half & half, mocha protein/Miralax latte shake
L: chili or gumbo
AS: celery sticks with peanut butter
D: I'll probably have something like yogurt or meatballs before going to the party so I don't blow it...
Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!
Our dog, Blossom is at the vet today. She ate a whole bottle of her Rimadyl (pain pills) last night. They made her throw up, gave her charcoal to coat her stomach and put her in IV fluids. That much Rimadyl can damage her kidneys and liver so they want to check her functions in 3 weeks, but hopefully she's going to be okay. I think we caught it in time. Our bill is going to be astronomical since it was an after-hours call and they had to do so much. Vets are SO expensive! Blossom can come home later on today.
QOTD: I can't really think of any crazy diet I tried other than just severely limiting my calories and exercising like crazy when I was anorexic in high school & college.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 78, Calories - 1,145, Carbs - 96.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: chicken stir fry, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: stuffed peppers
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, Atkin's peanut butter cups.
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision (if she gets home from the vet in time before it gets dark, otherwise I'll walk by myself).
Have a FANTASTIC Saturday everyone!
~ Karen

I hope Blossom is okay! Yeah, I hear you about vet bills - Even routine care is super expensive these days!
