What are you favourite go to recipes?
Being new to the RNY game and introducing food, I would love to add some recipes into my collection that are RNY friendly. I thought it might be fun to share some recipes that are your standby/go to that you know are great for protein and work well with the pouch and dropping the lbs.

Thanks for the link although I didn't start the conversation. Invaluable information.
My favorite thing since RNY has been learning to use an Instant Pot. There are tons of great things I make in it. Eggface has amazing stuff as recommended above. I think the Ricotta Bake with meat added is my favorite one from her. Single best recipe? Hmmm... Beef Stew I skip the grits as a side and add mushrooms to the soup. Very yummy and freezes well.

It really depends on where you are in your phase as to what might be your favorite. As time goes on you can get so creative with foods, but at the beginning I Second, Third and Fourth Eggfaces blog... so many great ideas there!
My 'go-to' when I'm in a hurry? Taco meat... ground beef with cumin, chili powder, cayenne, garlic, Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning... then cheese, a bit of lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream... all weighed out and in a bowl.
Emepie's egg salad is fabulous... she substitutes cottage cheese in place of the mayo (adds protein), and I like to use sugar free sweet pickles cut up, bacon and Everything But the Bagel spice from Trader Joes
Chili, no beans (I'm from Texas) is also a great filling meal. You can add cheese and sour cream to that too
My family loves my chicken fried 'rice', made with extra egg and riced cauliflower instead of the starchy stuff
There's an Instant Pot forum you can join here with a ton of recipes that are RNY friendly if you like the IP.
Basically any low carb/ Keto recipe is a great choice to try out!

I have not had surgery as yet but have been looking around for high fibre high protein recipes, I am trying Ree's (cannot remember the rest of the name) 7 can soup which looks delicious and invented my own recipe as well - sugar free jello prepared normally add in 3/4 of a cup of greek yogurt and a scoop of unflavoured protein powder. It sets up great and will give me an extra protein punch in a snack! I am going to be freezing some to see how that works out. Well here's hoping anyways.....

I know the newbies check the trackers and the signatures so although I kind of lost track of how the rest of the weight came off, you should know that it was not fast and furious but it was slow and steady!
