What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
Good morning! We made it to the halfway point. A rainy day today and chilly! It's going to be a long winter lol.
QOTD: What do you drive and do you like it?We are vehicle shopping. We are definitely going to need another van and we will be getting another Dodge Grand Caravan. This is the last year they're making them and it will also be our last minivan I think. We have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan now and it's been great. Before that we had a 2004. And before that a Chev Astro. There is life after minivans! lol
Accountability was pretty good yesterday. I had a fudgsicle though. I still kept my calories in range and carbs but it was a dumb choice.
Menu:
B: Either fried egg and bacon or my Skyr Yogurt.
L: We had hamburger patties last night - they were delicious and I'm looking forward to lunch today :)
D: Not sure what's on the menu tonight. Possibly chicken.
S: Turkey bites
weight is up again. But I do have sore muscles from my workout and that usually means higher numbers on the scale. 172.3 this morning.
Vitamin patches are on plus additional oral vitamins for calcium, vitamin d and magnesium.
Have a great day everyone.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning menu folks! The weather is cooler today, but I hope to get out and do a long walk at lunch again. I've been away from my water aerobics for more than 2 weeks and I hope to get back to it tomorrow. I miss the fun and being in the water when I don't get to go.
QOTD: I drive a Toyota RAV4 and love it.
Menu:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties
Snack: Lemonade protein shake
Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: pork chops, kale salad

Good morning! It is gloomy here (but warm). But I don't care as it is my Friday. I'm leaving for the OH conference early tomorrow. It may be my last trip alone for a long time, so I am looking forward to it. Putting support in place for DH was a challenge, but worth it.
QOTD: I drove mini vans for 20 years as the kids were growing up. Our last and best was a Honda van (circa 2000 I think). In 2007 I started buying small sporty cars. When I could afford it I bought my first BMW convertible. I'm on my third now (BMW 230i). I LOVE it (I'm a car person - DH could care less). Our other car is a 2012 Honda CRV, which is a great car as well (and a lot more practical).
1 year, 7 months post-op (maintenance). 11 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tunafish, pickles and cottage cheese
D: pulled pork
S: baked apple

Good morning!
B: Protein shake
MS: 1/2 cup ff greek yogurt with 1.5 oz strawberries
L: 1 cup of cottage cheese/tuna/cucumber mixed up
AS: See MS
S: I don't know, but I saw stir-fry beef thawing......that's always exciting.
ES: Doubtful, but decaf for sure while teaching drum lessons. Maybe some cheese and cucumber if I need something.
QOTD: The family vehicle (we only have one now) is a Kia Sedona and we love it. We had a Ford Windstar, and it was really great until it rusted badly right around that massive recall period. We've also had a 2009 Dodge Grand Carrot-van, and it was OK for the drive train, but between the wiring harnesses for the slider doors (2), wheel bearings (3) and brake jobs (3) in the 3 years we drove it, I just couldn't justify keeping it. THose repairs were with a fairly easy driving style, not aggressive. Seemed like it was just one stupid thing after another. The kia has been awesome, though I'm done with vans after this one. Time for me to have a truck, and momma an SUV.
In the meantime, my wife gets the van and I hit the bricks every day either walking or cycling on my 2013 Trek. I love it.
Hey yall- its a coffee coffee day for me!!
QOTD; I don't have a 'vehicle' that is mine per se, we have 3 vehicles and I just go grab the closest one to the street and go. we have a 2013 VW jetta, a 2008 dodge dakota, and a 1990 ford f-150 lariat with dual tanks. the ford was a vintage project for DH that he bought for what was a reasonable price then proceeded to replace engine, trans, wheel, and EVERYTHING ELSE on it. so needless to say, we aren't getting rid of it anytime ever due to how much $$ we have sunk in. I would eventually like to sell the dodge, and the jetta and get me a hyundi ionic or prius or fiat, something with amazing gas mileage which is funny since I work from home. but when I do leave and we go on trips, I like to be economical.
Scale is cooperating today, back down but still not good enough, still more plugging away I need to do.
Food plan:
goat curry
gizzards
egg whites
coffee
salad
leftover steak
leftover ribs
This is just a listing of choices in fridge, we will see what I choose, for sure the gizzards as they need to be eaten and prob the steak for sure.
Exercise for today: jogging again, plan on running more than 1.5 miles this time, shooting for 2 since the 5k is SAT!!!
