What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good Morning! That's awesome about the shirt!
QOTD: My go-to is Starbucks and I used to be a daily customer. I have scaled back and maybe go a few times a week now and make my cup of gold(lol) here at the office or at home on the weekends(I do have the Verismo at home so technically still Starbucks). It works out better financially of course but it's nice that I can use Fairlife too.
Accountability: Argh, added a pb&j on low a carb pita and a banana last night.
Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

Good morning!
I've been consistent since meat week at finishing my MFP food entry. I always enter up until about dinner time, but then rarely follow through with entering anything after 6pm. I know that could lead to huge problems, so I'm happy to say for over a week, I've been finishing off my entries. I also like how it tells you, "if you ate like this every day you'd weigh xxx in 5 weeks." That's somewhat motivating, although not necessarily accurate.
QOTD: I feel like coffee has saved me post WLS because it still feels like a treat to me. Every morning I have a cup of whole Fairlife milk as my breakfast, mixed with iced coffee (cold press, 2/3 decaf). Plus sugar-free vanilla syrup. Soooo good. I sip on it all morning. Plus, it gets me 20 ounces of liquid right away.
When it's cold, I'll first have a cup of those Maxwell House international coffees that come in the little square tins. The sugar-free decaf is only 30 calories. Maybe add little of my husbands Dunn Bros regular brew.
If I'm traveling and don't have my coffee (I usually bring it, anyway), I'll go for a Starbucks flat white. Mmmm.
Food:
B: ice coffee with Fairlife milk
L: tuna packet with mayo OR HB eggs
S: babybell cheese
D: thai peanut chicken
Back home from the weekend shoot which was a rainy mess. They managed to shoot Saturday between storms but Sunday was a total rainout. Still it was a chance to get away from home and camp so that was fun. QOTD any kind of coffee is great but usually I make it at home. I love vanilla flavors and pumpkin spice this time of year. Post op 5 years 1.75 months and weight at 118.6 today. Didnt drink enough yesterday so that's the goal for today. Temp was 46 with 20 mph winds when Lily and I walked in the dark this morning but we did our 3.6 miles. We'll do another mile after supper too. Heres the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c green beans D 1 c ham and beans S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

Good morning~ It has been oddly hot these last few days - its supposed to be 100 degrees today. Now, normally, or before WLS anyway it would really effect me, but the heat is not bothering me at all. It used to make me seriously miserable. Now I'm just bummed because I have sweaters and boots I'm dying to wear already! Where is fall?
QOTD - I'm a Starbucks girl all the way. Every morning I get a trenta iced coffee and add no more than a tbsp of half and half which is 35 cal, so I don't feel bad at all. I used to keep it as an occasional treat, but that was pre op when I was eating take out for lunch everyday. Now that I bring my lunch daily, I enjoy SB every morning instead. It's cheaper than lunch!
Accountability - there were many, many peanuts...they really upset my stomach so I didn't eat dinner.
11 mo post op - 169.0 -boo
b-coffee w/hc, SB iced coffee w/hh, HB eggs or beef jerky
l-BBQ chicken
d-pork chop
v/l - on track
Have a great day everyone!

Howdy,
Love love love coffee. I mix half decaf and half regular to get me going in the morning. If I have coffee any other time, it is decaf only. I don't go to Starbucks anymore. Mostly just because of their rant a while back about hiring practices that didn't really support our veterans and my husband is ex army. I noticed they started running some politically correct ads talking where their staff is talking to vets who served our country bla bla, but when companies get involved in politics like Target and Starbucks, my tendency is to take my business elsewhere to mom and pop private stores that appreciate my business.
