What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning :)
I almost called in sick today. We don't have a lot going on this week and I'm just pooped. To me it's so mentally draining to sit in the office and not be busy. On the positive side, I have gotten quite a few personal tasks completed.
I have decided to do a mini CAMAW again this week. I pooped out Friday afternoon and was a bit demotivated by the lack of weight loss. Stepped on the scale today and I'm down 1.5 pounds. I'll take it :)
QOTD: I don't drink coffee or tea so I don't usually go to coffee shops. Pre-op I loved Starbucks vanilla frapp, but I would die now from all that sugar ;)
Post-op two years, seven months.
Breakfast - egg
Snack - yogurt
Lunch - pork chop
Snack - turkey sausage
Snack - pepperoni and cheese
Dinner - tbd
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water and vits.
Congrats on your loss!

Happy Tuesday OHER'S, hope everyone is planning on having a wonderful day.... I plan on mine being very good... Don't know if anyone remembers but I had a cardiologist appointment on October 11 and his assistant did the preliminary work on me then went to talk to the doctor...he reviewed my stats and decided I didn't need the appointment , beholder I had stats better than most 30-40 year olds that he sees...he had his assistant take me back out to the check in, had he have them cancel my appointment and make sure I was.t charged...ok so now I need to get my knee (total knee replacement) busted loose only my records show that I cancelled the cardio appt. and my surgeon needs a letter from either the cardio doctor or my primary doctor saying I'm ok to put under .sounds easy right? ...so why am I worrying about the doctors worrying about the possible liability that could involve for them?...It took me 5 weeks to get into see the cardiologist before and there is a certain window for having knee manipulated...blah blah blah...ok so I'm stressing again...and whining...sorry...hmmm
QOTD Starbucks French Roast, yummmm..the first cup has cream, optifiber, and I take my vitamins with it...the 2nd cup is warming up the first cup and adding vanilla premier protein...3rd warm up still add pp. Then water all day.
B 1 egg bite
L parmesan chicken 3-4oz.
D 3-4 oz. Pulled beef or 5 beef meatballs.
Man...I have been living this knee for 9 weeks now....I've learned a lot..mostly through error(groan). One thing I found out is that the new joint is really strong and that I shouldn't be able to hurt it...so today I'm going to try my tall recumbent thing...see if I can get some more bend in that knee...all really is good....Have a great day everyone!
I hope that your knee continues to improve. I remember when I had shoulder surgery that they had to break it loose several times. I hope that your knee isn't as painful.

Thank you ...you know I read your posts and the 'sound' of your pure enjoyment of your hikes and walks make me( and my walker) WANT to take a walk....today I'm going to even if I just walk the condo compound.
The knee can be painful at times but not ALL the time and it is getting better... it just doesn't want to bend... I imagine a shoulder would be more painful because it's used more...all is good

Good morning! Back at work after a 3 day weekend and it should be a blast (please note a heaping helping of sarcasm).
QOTD: I LOVE COFFEE!! My fav are skinny vanilla lattes (hot or iced, I don't discriminate) from Starbucks but I try to limit myself due to their expense. I have a nespresso machine and I make a coconut milk latte every morning and I have a slew of SF torani to choose from. Today was an almond latte. We have our annual charitable drive at work going on so the event today is coffee from one of the local coffee shops. I'l drink that with a bit of splenda and half and half.
Time since surgery: 3 years 3 months
B: Coconut milk latte and 2 meat sticks
S: Coffee with splenda and half & half and string cheese.
L: Need to grab something at Target
S: Ham and string cheese
D: Whatever protein is at dinner
W/V: Started
E: Unsure, I swam last night but I'm not sure about tonight.
Have a great day all!
