Good morning. Still going strong, but I did have a hidden sugar reaction to my thai food dinner last night. Went to an old haunt because the bariatric support group was near that location and DW favorite spot. I ordered beautifully, but asked for no added sugar to sauces or recipes. To quite the hunger pangs, I ate some extra jerky (3/4 oz), Popsicles and 1 oz of nuts last night that wasn't on the plan for the day. Overall not bad, but not happy. So another restaurant goes on the list of non-compliance to my request to minimize the sugar. Some places that pre-make food just don't get it. So we won't be going back there. My favorite Thai place is go good. When I go there they know my name (yes like Cheer's) and Jimmy the owner comes out of the kitchen if he's there. He's so nice. If you are in the Chicago northern burbs you should check out Jimmy Thai in Deerfield. Tell them no sugar and they will make it fresh for you. Pad Plik with Chicken is perfect.

QOTD. Yes, but not too often. I'm a stickler for putting things in the same place. Generally sit in the same seat, park in the same spot.... But that doesn't mean I'm inflexible. However, drawers have a purpose and not a dumping ground to clear the decks. This is not how my wife lives. I just sit there and shake my head, but have learned over 27 years to keep my mouth shut. She seriously lives in ciaos daily because she never knows where her car keys are located. Her purse dumps on the floor every weekend to find something. I have a little tray by the door and my car keys never pass that tray when I enter the house - NEVER. You'd think she might drop her keys there - nope. Don't get me started on the mail. I get stuff after a month sometimes ;) I have a car top carrier that I bought 8 years ago. Because of my weight I never really could use it. So it sat until two weeks ago when we loaded the dogs and a million items into the SUV and went on vacation. 8 years mind you and it was locked all that time because I had installed the key cores. Found the keys in 5 seconds and they weren't in my current key drawer because that dresser didn't exist 8 years ago!

B - Fage, pumpkin seeds, tbls sugar free jelly

S - Egg whites from hard boiled egg

L - Turkey and last of the low fat salami; small salad (coumadin control)

S - Syntrax (which at the bariatric support group I got into a weird argument that Nectar flavors had lactose - THEY DON"T. Weird person argued about everything.)

D - Chicken kabobs (meat only)

S - nuts and popsicles

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
