Friday morning weigh in today. Like the norm for this journey, I stalled for a bit, then dropped 4 lbs overnight. Sometimes it's 6. This morning I landed 7.5 lbs north of my goal. Not too bad, pretty happy with that. I'm going to boost my efforts and try to meet goal by Remembrance Day, and if I'm lucky, maybe shave a little time and a little weight off of that even. I feel awesome, and the hardest part is keeping clothes fitting.
I don't lose things often, but when I do, it's usually impossible to find it. I mean it's GONE. So I guess I'm good at losing things because I really do it right.
Once in a while I misplace my wallet for a minute or two, or my keys if I've put them in a different spot, but that resolves itself in a minute or two. I lost my kid once at an amusement park, she just bolted and the crowd swallowed her up. A moment of panic followed by a few minutes of me (at 360 lbs) walking through the crowd with my other daughter on my shoulders (as a lookout), yelling the youngest's name, and she was found. She followed a balloon until it popped in a tree, and stood there until she saw Daddy in the crowd. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but fiercely protective of my kids. Papa bear very nearly surfaced, and he's not a pleasant guy when stressed out over something bad happening to one of his kids. LOL
I can only describe the feeling as being kicked in the stomach by a mule, which I`ve experienced. It was an awful few minutes. You can be careful, and you can be the best parent out there. Stuff happens. Look at something for even a half second (in my case, I was helping thing no. 1 with a shoelace), and whammo. Thankfully, she wasn`t harmed, wasn`t stolen, and was consoled with lots of hugs. She spent the better part of the afternoon on my shoulders.
Congrats on your loss! You look great!

Good morning Teena and all,
You look great. Congratulations!
Lot on schedule for work today, then a walk with my daughter and grandbaby and raking leaves before dark. Lot of yard work to do while the weather is good for the weekend. CAMAW seems to be helping, although I plateau and drop and don't know if this is keeping the scales going down or it's just part of my cycle. It's good to mix it up and restrict a bit as my honeymoon stage will soon be over and I need to continue to develop good habit**** the 90 lbs. loss this morning and hope to make it to my first goal of 175 this coming week (3 lbs. and 7 months). Is this a one week or two week challenge? I plan on continuing a little longer either way then add back in veggies and berries.
Definitely, a loser. I used to pay my kids to find my keys - lol.
B - protein shake and black decaf.
S - chicken pepperette
L - chicken breast, 1 oz. cheddar and 1 tbsp. Tzatziki
S - 1/2 cup Skyr

Enjoy your weekend. Will post tomorrow. Weighed 178.6 today - down 2 lbs. since Monday. I'll take it!

Teena you look absolutely fantastic!! Great job!!!
Later this morning I'm talking to a pre-op group - then lunch with friends. I might take the afternoon off or else work a couple hours from home. It's homecoming. The parade is at 6:00 (I think). Traffic near campus will be a nightmare. No thanks....
QOTD: this is really weird, but I'm not a very neat person, but I almost never lose things. My husband is a neatnik and loses things *all the time*! I think it's because he gets irritated looking at things and stuffs them in a drawer or something, and then he can't remember where he put them. Whereas I always remember where I put them - or last saw them (it becomes a problem when he gets tired of looking at my stuff and shoves it in some drawer and then can't remember where he put them. So many arguments over that!!! I wish he'd leave my crap alone!!)
accountability has been good this week. I've gone off plan a couple of times, but calories have been in range.
2 years 4 months out
B: homemade vanilla Greek yogurt, raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, peach/vanilla protein/Miralax shake
L: ??
D: probably a chicken/apple/pecan salad if lunch wasn't too heavy. Otherwise, probably yogurt with bran cereal mixed in (not too fattening - and the bran makes it *really* filling)
AARRRGGHH! The internet in here is deadly - I'm having a hard time adding and sizing my photos, and I need to leave in a few minutes. I'll post and see what happens. These are my staff pictures from 2013 and 2017 (just last month). I found the former while cleaning out my electronic files yesterday - I'd forgotten about this pic!
