When my father was battling dementia, I had an almost crippling fear that I had it too. I forget things all.the.time. I finally took myself for therapy because the fear was overwhelming. The therapist told me that forgetting where you put your keys, or looking for your glasses when they're on the top of your head is normal, and compounded by the crazy rushed lives we lead. She told me when I'm holding my keys and I don't know what they are, then it's time to worry. I try to keep that in mind, because I'm still the queen of forgetting things.

I can understand your feelings! I don't think anyone expected it with DH because his mother was 90 when she started showing signs (passed away at 97). He was fighting it by 58 based on the mess in his office records (had to stop working at 61).

Good Morning and Happy Fri-yay! Love your pic, you look adorable. The weekend should be pretty busy with tons of errands tomorrow and Sunday, Emily and I are going to a fundraiser luncheon for breast cancer awareness-it's called "Pink Tea".

QOTD: I don't usually misplace things. I have had times where I am panicked looking for my phone and it's in my hand

Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: 3 cheese chicken sausage, mixed nuts, pork rinds and a SF popsicle when I get home

D: 1 egg scrambled with shredded cheddar inside a ½ low carb pita and 2 turkey sausage links

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1166 Protein:111 Carbs:68 Fat:57
