What's on your Friday menu, AMAW/CAMAW Day 5 and Photo Friday!

I had a trip to my new internist yesterday. She was very nice. I got my first flu shot ever, and thankfully have felt no effect from it. I also have a bone density scan tomorrow at my surgery center, an order for extensive bloodwork, an order for a mammogram, an order for a series of chest X-Rays (I broke a rib a few years ago and lately it's been sore), an order for a colonoscopy (something I've avoided all these years, but at my age I guess it's time!), an order to have a spot on my chest biopsied, plus I need to go get that Zostra (shingles) vaccine. This all represents more medical stuff than I have ever, EVER had at once in my life! Sheesh! Hopefully that will do it for another 10 years!
Yesterday I had salmon for breakfast and it just sat wrong, I think I ate too quickly, plus I had made it with a bit of butter, and it just felt too rich for my system. I was in some pain and pretty much out of it for a few hours afterwards. But I finished the last couple of ounces of it last night, eating very slowly, taking tiny bites, chewing each one to smithereens, and I was fine. Staying focused while eating is so necessary!

Thank you! These things are all jammed together in part because I'm quite overdue for some of them, and also, importantly, because I don't yet know what my health insurance will be like in 2018. Will I even have any? Will I be able to afford it? What are Trump and the Republicans going to do? Who knows! Thankfully, I have already paid my maximum out-of-pocket for this 2017. Having all of these tests done would otherwise cost me several thousand dollars, so I want to get them done while I am still fully covered. Though it's a lot of testing, actually it's all good!
QotD: I only lose things after I clean and tidy up my clutter. I know where everything is in the chaos but when I put things in their designated places, I can't find them. No idea.
Woke up late so eats today are whatever I hastily threw in my lunch bag...
Breakfast: 2 HB eggs, string cheese, coffee with sugar free pumpkin pie creamer
lunch: tuna creations packet (sweet and spicy), another string cheese, maaaaaybe an apple. I threw it in my bag, but it's been on the counter for a while so it may not even be good anymore.
Snack: Greek L&F
dinner: likely something bad for me. I'm running errands after work, including heading to the mall to pick up DH's anniversary gift and having it engraved (got him a chain with a dog tag style pendent for him to put his wedding band on. It no longer fits since his weight loss, but won't have it resized until he's at goal). So it will likely be mall food.
Photo Friday: a coworker found this kitty UNDER THE HOOD OF HER CAR...AFTER she'd driven a 40 minute commute. Poor baby!!! She got out of her car in the parking lot and heard terrible crying meows, and couldn't find where it was coming from right away.
