Surgery infection clean up
Tomorrow I have to go to the hospital at 7 am. I have to have surgery to clean up the infection where my largest incision was. I have been dealing with it draining for a few weeks. It started draining blood mixed with puss. My surgeon pulled 2 syringes of puss and blood out of a swollen area near incision. Can't wait til it's over and healed.
Wishing you the best and hope that things heal quickly!

Glad you listened to Grim and went!
Sometimes it is an infection, sometimes the immune system gets confused and goes into overdrive due to all the debris from the surgery. With way, removing infected tissues and removing the cytokines (aka chemical signals that recruit the white blood cells to further remodel the damaged tissue should help a lot).

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
Surgery was over by 9:15 and left hospital at 11:30 am. No open wound so I don't have a wound to pack. He gave me a drain. No pain as of right now. I go see surgeon again on Tuesday. Thank you for the kind words and Support.
I'm glad you got taken care of. Hopefully this is the last bump in your road.
Keep us posted.
