What's on your Thursday menu RNYers? AMAW/CAMAW Day 4
Coffee, coffee, coffee - oh how I love it! I mentioned that to someone recently and they went into a discussion of how they have recently detoxed from coffee/caffeine, as if I might want to as well. I told her that unless I'm having problems from it (I'm not), this is one craving I'm happy to have!

QOTD: I would either take a nap, play games on my ipad or read things on this page. I love down time and I never have enough. I love that time alone to just do whatever feels needed at the time. I used to look forward to what I could eat during that time and filling it with others can be a challenge but I'm slowly learning.
Accountability: All was good yesterday and I followed the plan well.

Good morning! We have a little sun today and it's warming into the 60's, yea! I have an apt with my Nurse Practitioner today, we are going to discuss hormone options. As soon as I turned 51 the menopause symptom**** really hard. Instead of getting better, it's just gotten worse in the last 6 months. The hot flashes and the mood swings are a daily occurrence. I'm look forward to what she has to say.

Hi guys,
Well, I'm out of CAMAW, but still eating pretty low carb. The challenge was bringing back too many pre op feelings of anxiety about dieting. So, I'm back to eating my raspberries, lol.
QOTD: I'd read or catch up on social media. I'm lucky that I have lots of free time :-).
Accountability: went off CAMAW but still ate healthy and kept carbs low (38 total carbs, or 22 net carbs).
Menu today:
Breakfast: water
Late lunch: pepperette with string cheese, after 3 PM (I have to get blood work down at 2:30 and have to fast until then).
Late Supper: burger patty with cheese
Snack: Greek yogurt with Raspberries and bran buds
Late snack: herbal tea with premier protein
Totals: 557 cal, 27 carbs, 11 fibre, 55 protein (protein and cals are low so may eat more protein if I can fit it in)
Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

Good afternoon! Been a hectic morning, so just getting some time to check in.
qotd: my answer will change seasonally. Spring and summer I go checking around in the garden for surprise produce with my cat (mostly she's just interested in hunting grasshoppers), fall/winter it's blanket and a book or show...most likely a book, since I tend to want to binge a show and an hour wouldn't be adequate!
breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 oz pork chop, green onions and cheese, scrambled. Lots of coffee happening today.
Lunch: spinach salad with a HB egg, bleu cheese crumbles, and homemade vinaigrette
snack: Greek L&F
dinner: no idea! I'm generally on my own on thursdays since DH goes to play nerd games with his friends (Magic the Gathering). On these nights I'm most tempted to either pick up fast food or just not eat. Bad habit I'm working on

Well I'm out of CAMAW... I unconsciously threw a Stacy Chip in my mouth and started chewing it before I realized it... and I still swallowed it anyway...we were at a condo game function.. potluck kind and I even ate before I went!... One crummy chip....arrrrghhhh... I'm still going to eat CAMAW BUT I'm out of the 5 days test thingy. As of this morning I'm actually down 3.2 lbs. Yaaaaay
QOTD I do beading... errrrr I mean I did beading and want to get back in it agAin not necessarily string beads but I do the weaving stitches.. peyote, spiral, herringbone, right angle etc..
