Good morning OHer's,

It's windy here and supposed to be rainy for the next week...I'm fine with the rain and wind... I fit in my raincoat again! It's even a loose fit!! Yaaaaay regain loss!

QOTD I am definite NOT a morning person....as long as i can remember I never have been (except with babies and children ...love those little ones). Now I need my quiet time... I never turn the TV on during the day... HD turns it on first thing before he goes to work.(yuk)..I usually stay in the bedroom and plan my day or read until he leaves. Maybe we both need alone time! It seems to work.

2nd CAMAW day- coffee, cream, fiber, vitamins, half pp in 2nd coffee

B 1hb egg

L 3-4oz. Chicken thigh

D 3-4 oz. Lamb, and finish pp after half hour

Ok so I do have to get my knee replacement manipulated and then work like crazy to get more 'bend'. Sounds interesting and all is good! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning.

Morning person? Yeah I guess now I am. I get up 4 days a week around 3:45 or 4:45 to swim. I usually hate the first 5 minutes - but once I'm up, I'm moving now. Stark difference from a year ago.

Accountability-on plan, but I did drift a little higher on calories from fat and protein yesterday than planned. Mostly due to my wife not wanting to eat her leftover $60 Ruth's Chris filet. I had planned chicken for the meal. No way that was going in the trash - no way. Though I cut away about 1/3rd of it due to over marbling. Who'd a thunk it. But it was good. I never go to Ruth Chris' because I have a more favorite steakhouse locally in Chicago. But I got a gift certificate. It kills me to spend $170 on dinner for two though, even with a $100 gift certificate. I can get the same quality meal for $50-$60 bucks less at my favorite steak shack. But it was a fun night out since we drove out to a different RC's this time. Scale did punch down a big number, but we'll see how much of that was water weight dropping from lower carbs yesterday.

B - remaining egg white omelet from Sunday

S - Fage with pumpkin seeds

L - 3 oz lamb roast on a small green salad (for my Coumadin control)

S - Syntrax random flavor from pack. I had the Cherry yesterday. It was good, then I remembered I already had that flavor but it was buried in the back of my bariatric supply shelf. Need to dig that out. Still the new fav grapefruit from the flavor wheel. I called I03 (maker of Syntrax) yesterday - no juice in the grapefruit to impact any meds - so I'm good. Maybe I'll go with Caribbean cooler today.

D - I'm not sure - maybe the chicken I had planned for on Monday night

S - SF popsicles and a few Whisp crackers

Grapefruit was my favorite of all the syntax samples I tried and I was also pleasantly surprised by the lemon tea.

I loved that grapefruit. It's killing me to wait to order but want to see about other flavors. I ended up trying the fruit medley (sky or something). That's not on my list for sure.

Good morning! Started the day with a phone call from my aunt that my dad was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a heart rate of 186, A-fib last night. It sounds like he's doing ok, can talk on the phone if I call. Waiting for a more decent hour for him, he's NOT a morning person, which brings me to the QoTD...

I generally get up around 6:00 AM, and that carries over to the weekend. My cat wakes me up for breakfast like clockwork. If I have things on the agenda I prefer to just tackle them first thing so I can relax without guilt later, but otherwise I prefer a slow start--coffee, check the weather, snuggle the kitties, etc. Ten years ago in my 20s I preferred staying up til early morning then sleeping til early afternoon. Now? I'd rather go to bed around 10, and get up before 8, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting the day!

Breakfast was 3 chicken sausage links, and now I'm having a protein shake.

The rest of my eats will include a Greek L&F, about a cup of homemade crab and shrimp salad (used real crab because I'm fancy), a string cheese, and about a cup of carrot sticks. That's in my lunch bag but not sure what I'll eat when.

Dinner will be chicken Alfredo with zoodles
