I am ready for CAMAW! I'm already seeing where the carbs have been sneaking into my diet. A few cheerios that the kids spill in the am, a bite of this or that---I need to clean it up! Also starting at 176 yesterday. I've been retaining water and hoping that will get flushed out, too.
B: coffee with fairlife milk
S: trader joe's mini brie
L: turkey meatloaf
S: protein shake
D: chicken breast with tsaziki
S: ham with mozzarella
Good Morning!
QOTD-Driving around and looking at fall colors. Living in Montana it's mostly the Tamaracks that change color. When I lived in Western Colorado we loved watching the Aspens turn.
First day of CAMAW! Starting weight of 181.8
B-1/4 cup plain full fat Greek Yogurt with 2tsp SF lemon pudding mix
L-4oz hamburger patty, string cheese
S-Chai tea w/vanilla protein shake(4oz)

E-60min walk with dog

Have a great Monday!
Getting in here late, work is crazy and it?s harder for me to get on in the morning now. I have my weigh-in for my 4th month out of 6 for my evaluation and I?m nervous because this past weekend was kind of a hot mess for eating. Also, all of my monthly weigh ins seem to be scheduled for the start of shark week and I bloat like a blimp. So...yay.
Qotd: l think we started a tradition just this year of going to our local huge pumpkin patch and renting a campfire site for a family get-together!
Todays menu (edited to note I'm not doing AMAW or CAMAW at this time as NUT wants me at 5 servings of vegetables daily--and I'm struggling with that!)
breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 3 chicken sausage links
lunch: spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette
dinner: not sure yet, toss up between a hamburger patty with cheese, or salad again (I?ll add diced chicken)

Good afternoon menu family!
Accountability:
I foraged for food in my apt yesterday and ate a box of Mac N Cheese for my lunch and dinner. So that was a big fail. On the up-side, it wasn't as delicious as I'd thought it would be.
QOTD:
As a kid we would pick bushels of apples over one or two weekends in the fall, then sort and prep them for winter storage in the fruit cellar. Mom would make apple sauce from some of them and we'd use the canner to preserve it. She used to put cinnamon in it and cooked the skins too so the applesauce was always pink to red in color. Occasionally we'd dry apples for storage, first we'd wash them, then use an apple crank slicer to spiral cut them, and hang these in the cellar to dry. We would usually get carving pumpkins to carve and of course roast and eat the seeds! My parents would often buy bushels of "bad" apples from the local farms and we'd make cider in a home made press. It wasn't until much later I learned we were wasting it by drinking it too early!

EXERCISE:
Biked to work (about 10 miles round trip), Tonight is Run Club, then I'll lift weights.
I'm planning a stop at the store after my workout tonight to pick up two bags of frozen pre-cooked shrimp. I'm going to bring one to work, and leave one at the house. I find that thawing out 3 to 4 oz of shrimp makes a perfect meal - I like to eat them with 1 tsp of ****tail sauce, but even plain their pretty good!
Here's my CAMAW shopping list:
- 2 bags of frozen cooked large shrimp
- 1 Strip Steak
- 1 lb smoked turkey lunch meat
- 1 lbs bacon
- 1 package bratwurst
- 1 large tub plain Greek yogurt
- 2 packages crab sticks
- 1 packages cream cheese
- 1 tub cottage cheese
- 1 tub whole milk Ricotta cheese

sorry pics are so gigantic. I have no idea why. I ate all of that turkey bacon but at lunch the ground beef and my pouch started a disagreement. My pouch said that is more than enough after 2 bites. I will use it if I feel hungry today. That amazing steak is my dinner. This will all probably be the same tomorrow but will let you all know. Have fun everyone - I sure plan to have fun with my food choices this week
