Good morning! I think Fall is arriving here at least temporarily today (temp is supposed to fall to the mid-fifties after being close to 70 this weekend). I'm going to have to use my Sunday morning weight as my start weight for the challenge as BIL unexpectedly stayed over again (and is in the scale room).

QOTD: We don't do much special for fall other than get apples from an orchard (which I won't eat this week) and put some mums and pumpkins on the porches.

1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 18 work days to retirement (11/13).

On CAMAW this week:

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and ham

L: roast turkey

D: Shrimp

S: Yogurt, pork rinds

Mornin'!

Should be a slower week this week - two classes this morning, one tomorrow - then no more until the first week of November. YAY! I'll be able to get ahead on some of the other stuff I've been putting off...

QOTD: not really traditions, other than I love fall foods and fall clothes - and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I do love fall. The only bad part of it is that winter is coming - boo!

didn't do that well this weekend. Nothing bad, just too much eating off plan and too many calories. I need to buckle down this week or my weight is going to start heading up again...

2 years 4 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberries

S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax latte shake

L: 1 C tuna/chickpea salad on a FlatOut FoldIt

D: chicken/apple/pecan salad - maybe with an ear of corn or a small bowl of gumbo

maybe another yogurt this evening if I can afford the calories (pumpkin with bran cereal if I do - very filling!)

ex: yoga

Happy birthdayErin--before I forget it. QOTD when my boys were young we used to decorate and take a trip to a local corn maze but not really any more. Last year we went to the nearby state park and passed out candy to trick or treaters there but not sure if we will this year or not-we'll have to see the weather forecast. I will be cheering you on for AMAW week but not participating as Im maintaining my weight perfectly right now. Post op 5 years 1.5 months and weight at 118.2 today. Here is the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 smoked sausage with mustard 1/2 c green beans D 1 c ham and beans S string cheese 1 meat stick. Lily and I have our 3.6 miles in and will do another mile after supper. Accountability was great yesterday and Lily and I did get our whole walk in yesterday afternoon. We did a bit over 5 miles yesterday all totaled. Have a great day everyone and make smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! You've got this. Off to find some pumpkin spice coffee now.

I was out all last week due to a training for work. Monday I ate hrribly but I was good the rest of the week. However, this weekend was a nightmare. I had 20 hours of dorm duty so I ate whenever and whatever I wanted. Not good. I'm glad it's MACAW week. I'm headed to the grocery store in a bit to pick up the necessary provisions.

QOTD: We went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago. Some years we carve pumpkins, some years we don't.

Time since surgery: 3 years 3 months

B: coconut milk latte, iced coffee with premier protein

S: meat stick and cheese

L: chicken breast

S: meat stick or deli and cheese

D: whatever protein is available

W/V: started

E: 3 mile run

Thats the thing I love most about my surgery. Forvthe first time ever in my whole life Ive been the same weight for 41/2 years. Now I donate clothes to Goodwill not because they no longer fit but because I'm sick of wearing them. I really need to cull some sweaters soon so I can find some new and different ones for this season.

Good Morning! The weekend seemed so fast, we went a little shopping at some outlet stores on Saturday but other than that it was the normal weekend stuff. Awesome that you get to work from home today. My menu is a best guess today as I actually have to head to a court appearance this morning with one of my employees-she took a call a few weeks ago that she may need to testify about taking so I am just going for moral support. It's a child custody case so I have no clue how long it will take the judge to get to the case we are there for but hoping to be back late morning and that I can eat my planned lunch.

QOTD: No fall traditions that I can think of. I still didn't get my scarecrow "wreath" down this weekend...ooops.

Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Spaghetti squash casserole and baby carrots

S: Salami snack pack, string cheese, mixed nuts and a SF popsicle when I get home

D: Albacore tuna melt (tuna and cheddar in ½ a low carb pita warmed on the stove)

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with canned pumpkin, pumpkin spice seasoning and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 30 mins of elliptical this morning since I am not sure if I'll be able to at lunch (if I can-whoo-hoo it'll be a bonus!)

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1210 Protein:125 Carbs:68 Fat:55

Have a great one!

CAMAW Challenge Day 1!

Weight this AM: 157.9

B: Turkey sausage

L: Chicken cheddar brat

D: Roasted Turkey

S: cheese stick

QOTD: We picked our pumpkins and lined them up on the front step. We'll carve them in two weeks for jack-o-lanterns. My son insists I dress up with him this year for trick or treating. Oh, and apple crisp--I can't eat it anymore, but I make it to smell up my house!
