What's on your Monday Menu/ AMAW CAMAW Challenge day1!
Good morning everyone, and happy Monday! I'm working from home today- best way to start the week! It really cooled off this weekend and it was very windy yesterday- the trees haven't finished changing colours but they've lost a lot of leaves.
QOTD: Do you have any special fall traditions? We usually go to a local apple orchard where they also sell pumpkins. We get a bushel of apples and pumpkins for Halloween. Unfortunately the older couple that live there aren't there anymore so we have to find another one. There are lots in our area but this one was small , and not at all commercialized.
Accountability- carbs were a little higher than I like them to be yesterday but overall the weekend went well.
AMAW Day 1 Menu!
I will add the pics in a bit but wanted to get this started today.
B: Sliced Deli Ham
L: 3 ounces of pork roast with gravy- it was our lunch yesterday so I made up some containers and put in the fridge.
D: Chicken drumsticks
S: more ham or turkey pepperette sticks.
Vitamin patches are on, and will be sure to be adding senokot today- don't forget that the low carbs can cause constipation so you may want to add Miralax/Restoralax or whatever you usually use to help with that.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's Menu. My starting weight is 176.1.

Lots of prep done yesterday, fridge full of meaty treasures ready for the microwave. Oh wait, it died yesterday LOL Have to resort to old fashioned re-heating methods.
QOTD: Much less decorating now that the boys are older, but I have pots of fall Mums on the front stairs and little "scare crows" on either side of the stairs.

Good morning menu folks! I'm glad to be back to my routine even though I had a great time at my spinning retreat. There was lots of temptation -- carbs galore. I ate more food than usual, but no carbs. I had more nuts and cheese for snacks to make it through the temptation and did fine. I also did several strenuous hikes while I was gone so I was working off my calories that's for sure. I got on the scale this morning and was actually down .2 pounds, which is amazing. It was a true testament to the best decision making that I could do.
I'm glad that it's AMAW/CAMAW week. I am doing CAMAW because I eat eggs and drink a protein shake a day.
QOTD: I love apples and all things apple, but as some of you may remember, I had a serious carb reaction when I started eating apples this fall. I have cut the apples out and the scale is doing better.
