Good morning everyone! I had the best day yesterday. I was super busy, productive -just happy and light. It was wonderful. Today we are taking the pups to the dog park and then going out to watch Football (at 10 am in CA)and have lunch. This afternoon will be more football and getting ready for the week, including AMAW!! I did my meat shopping yesterday so I should be all set, bring it!

QOTD - at first it was weird to get rid of my clothes (very personal) but once I started I couldn't wait to keep tossing. My sister had a friend who was plus sized with 3 plus sized daughters who loved getting my stuff. Now I have both of my sisters to give to, so it's really easy. For the first time in my life, I am the skinny sister, ha! It also helps justify my shopping for smaller sizes. I realize I have spent a bit of money on clothes this year to only be able to wear them for a few months, but I tried to be conservative, making my choices as basic and wardrobe stretching as possible. Like buying a shirt that when it got too big/long will look great with leggings for a while longer.

Accountability - great

10 mo post op - 170 - YES!

b-coffee w/hc, SB iced coffee w/hh, scrambled eggs

l-chicken and shrimp

d-steak

v/l on track

e-not today

Have a wonderful day!

I went over by way too many calories. No big splurges (other than a big bowl of bran cereal that I ate to fill me up so I'd STOP EATING!!!), but I was cooking all day and tasting along the way. UGH! Better day today, I hope... At least we have food for the rest of the week, though. I won't have to worry about cooking anything.

Meditation class today, lunch with my mom, getting a mailing out for one of my civic organizations, Aqua Zumba That's pretty much my day today...

QOTD: it's always hard for me to get rid of things because I can be such a tightwad. Things I've gotten a lot of use out of are easier, but I had some items that I barely wore. I thought about the money I'd spent on them, but seriously, am I ever going to wear them again? Even if I end up regaining more weight (I'm up eights lbs from my lowest - which is I hope is it), I'm never going to weigh 373 lbs again. I tried to pawn some off on a friend and my sister, both of whom took a few things (YAY!), but most of it got hauled off to Goodwill. I do have a few things I bought during my weight loss phase that are L and XL that I kept (I currently wear a medium). I figured I could still wear the sweaters, esp when I'm layering. I don't know why I kept the other stuff - I guess in case I gain any more weight, but I'm really working on not gaining any more. I guess it's just hard for me to get rid of stuff. There, I said it!

2 years 4 months out

B: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberries

S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax latte shake

L: not sure since I'm meeting my mother for lunch - maybe tacos or soup. Depends on where we go

D: chicken/apple/pecan salad

probably a pumpkin yogurt (with bran) later on this evening..

Enjoy spending your birthday with hundreds of fellow procrastinators at the license bureau IF!

Run is done, breakfast is eaten. Today we're going to home goods and Kohl's. No other plans.

Qotd: I don't hold on to old clothes anymore. Only thing I've kept is the last pants I bought before WLS, size 26 from LL Bean. I don't them them just in case, but as a 'never forget'. I did keep some of my Victoria's Secrest Bra's, Sizes38-40 D/C. I wore them for so little and they are so expensive- to me that it made sense to hold those for 'just in case'. In switching out my summer/winter clothes I realized I still had quite a few XL's. I bagged them up, since I'm in a M/L now. But the just in case temptation is real.

201 today, 2.5 Years out

m1/2: 1 egg, 1oz bologna, Greek yogurt & berries, bagel thin

m3: 1/2 tuna pouch, boiled egg cheese stick

m4: maybe beef stew, or sautéed shrimp, or leftover chicken parm meatballs.

Happy Sunday! I have been forgetting to come check here and post my menu, and I have been slipping with my diet. Not terribly, but I have been giving in to temptations and eating more carbs than I have been. This weekend DH and I were in Denver (posting from the car at the beginning of a 7-8 hour drive back home) for a friend's wedding, and I did have both cake and wine, and we've had brunch 3 days in a row. I did manage to keep up my cardio elliptical workouts at the hotel fitness room, and we've been fairly active while here.

Breakfast: I had a Greek L&F before workout, then juevos rancheros at brunch, whi*****luded two eggs, refried beans, avocado, fresh pico de gallo and corn tortillas. I ate 2 of the 4 tortillas.

lunch: we have low-carb snacks in the car (jerky, almonds), but not sure if we'll stop for a "hot" lunch. I'm pretty full from breakfast.

dinner: I have some 4 oz salmon fillets I can pull out and thaw at home tonight.

QotD: I don't think I'll have a problem getting rid of my big clothes only because I'm currently in need of new clothes but don't want to buy anything new in my current size haha. I have bought things while put thrifting with my husband in smaller sizes that I can't wear yet, but nothing in my current size. So once I can wear those smaller sizes, GOOD RIDDANCE to the big stuff.

easy for me to say now, but who knows what my mental/emotional attachment may be later when it comes to getting rid of it.

Hello all - Happy Birthday (tomorrow) Erin!!

Late post for me today. Didn't get up and get moving early enough to do it before work. So glad this is my last night for a while. I only work 2 days next week and I am going camping with friends over my long weekend. My camper has already been winterized so I will be staying in their camper. The last camping trip for us until spring.

QOTD: I kept one of the biggest size pants that I wore prior to surgery as a reminder. I have pretty much gotten rid of everything else that I have gotten to small to wear. I put clothes in a garbage bag when I put them on and they are too big and once the bag gets full I donate it. I can not believe how fast I am going through my clothes now. It seems like I hardly get to wear them and then they are too big.

Menu:

B- 1/2 scoop protein powder and SF Creamer in iced coffee

B2 - Tuna pouch

L - Salmon burger, small spinach salad

S - Roast beef lunch meat, Baby Bel light cheese wheel

D - 3.5 oz shrimp, ****tail sauce, small spinach salad

S - Tuna pouch
