I love your house!!

Lovely, Liz! Is that a purple martin house up in the air behind your house?

What is a "purple Martin house"? Nothing behind it in the picture that I'm aware of.

It probably is something else, but in the photo, above the center of the bouse, it looks as if there may be a purple martin house, perhaps in your back yard or behind your yard. Purple martins are birds. People mount houses for them high up in the air, on poles. Here's a picture:
