What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
Morning!
Busy day today. I have several classes, as well as a gyno appointment for my period that ended up lasting 15 days, an eye exam, and a blood test to start accutane, plus my without class.
QOTD: Both! I grew up in a small city or a large town, depending on how you look at it. I wouldn't want smaller than this. And I looove big cities as long as I don't have to drive in them. I enjoy country life because I think it's important to spend time in nature. In my ideal future, I would love in suburbs, city, and country at different times.
A: I didn't eat anything I thought I would. But I stayed on plan completely.
M: I'm not sure! But I want to keep it under 700 calories. I'll come back at the end of the day and edit this!

Good morning OH! I agree, this week IS flying by and super busy also. It was completely dark and foggy the whole way to work this morning ;( and will be though January now, boo. It's supposed to warm up to almost 80 today. I am going to BBQ tonight, so it should still be nice out.
Looking forward to AMAW! Thank you Tina, Erin and Liz for making this happen -you guys ROCK!
QOTD - I grew up in the suburbs and still live in the suburbs! City/country - Yin/yang! I dream about living in the city and the country all the time. The city is exciting and -when I say city - I mean BIG modern city where you live downtown in a neighborhood with everything you want/need right there, and don't even need a car.... The country is so peaceful to me, small town quaint, nature, zen - my heart. I want both!
Accountability - great!
10 mo post op - 173!
b-coffee w/hc, SB iced coffee w/hh, epic chicken sriracha bar - smells so good, tastes great - smokey and spicy - thanks JB!!
l-burger patty w/mayo, tomato and onion
d-tri tip, crab
v/l - on track
e-gym - cardio/weights
Have a great day all!!

Back after a few days absent, hope nobody missed me too much :P phone (primary means of posting here) died, and work has been hectic
QotD: I grew up in a smallish city, population less than 100,000, and now live in Omaha which is much larger, but at heart I'm a country girl. I love my vegetable garden and hate having neighbors. If I ever strike it rich I want to buy a farm outside of town and grow a huge vegetable garden and donate fresh vegetables for needy families. That being said, I love going to movies, shopping, and rock concerts, so I don't think I'd want to get too far from town.
eating hasn't been the best. I haven't gained, but I haven't lost much either. My mom thinks I'm being too hard on myself, since my surgeon didn't indicate that he needed me to lose.
breakfast: I had kind of a juevos rancheros dish with scrambled eggs, salsa, leftover diced chicken, a spoonful of fat free refried beans, and cheese.
Lunch: leftover chicken and vegetable soup I made over the weekend. The weather here has been perfect for soup--frost on my windshield this morning.
Snack: Greek L&F
dinner: spinach salad with chicken, a little diced apple, red onion, walnuts, and bleu cheese dressing

Good morning still,
Qotd I grew up in a small town then moved to the country. Now I live in the city. My heart belongs in the country but now I like the convenience of the city where everything is close by.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D rotisserie chicken and coleslaw
Have a wonderful day
Good morning! I feel like I've been gone for ages. Hope everyone is doing well.
QOTD: I'm not really sure. I live in the biggest city for our state but it's tiny compared to other cities. The size and business seems to suit me though. I will say that I prefer seclusion at the end of the day after dealing with so many different personalities etc. When I win the lottery then I will buy a big house that is nestled in trees somewhere so I'm still technically in the city but still have my space from everyone... Just gotta win that lottery LOL!
b- shake and almond milk latte
l- taco salad (no chips or sour cream)
d- not sure, maybe zoodles and sausage
s- part of a protein bar maybe, Greek yogurt with fresh raspberries
v- forgot patches!
e- dog walking (realis
hope everyone is having a good day! Missed posting here and reading posts. Good to be back :)
Welcome back, Mandi!
I want the same kind of house that you do! And I need to win the lottery to be able to do it as well

Good morning Teena D and OHer's, I was really dreading today....I had an appointment with a cardiologist due to my tachycardia event that I had on 9/2 ...yep took the emt guys about 25 minutes to stabilize my pulse rate in their ambulance in our condo parking lot...very scary ...they said (I think) that they needed to stop my heart and restart it to get it working right etc etc yada yada... well I recently looked up oxycodone withdrawals instead of side effects.... and tachycardia is a symptom of withdrawal...!!!! I stopped taking it the day before because it was so nauseating....So today the cardiologists assistant took all my stats..looked at my records, listened to my concerns..then she went to her boss, brought everything to him...he said my stats were better than most 30-40 year olds that come to see him...he had his assistant take me out front and cancel my appointment...said it was not necessary and that he did not want me charged for it!!!!! (What?) Needless to say my stress level has gone down dramatically... now I'll just need to concentrate on my knee working and CAMAW! Yaaaaay .I actually got hugs and pats from them! Amazing.
B 1 egg bite
L crack chicken 3oz
D 3oz lamb with garlic
QOTD I guess I'm a small city person...although I love ocean beaches, and cabins in the woods and breathtaking views... and I used to ride horses when I was younger..it seems I no longer feel comfortable around larger animals that could possibly bite, butt, buck or step on me! If you mean countryside w/o animals..then I would love that too.
Have a great day everyone.
Thank you Emiepie.... you know I need to learn to only worry once...and that's only when something actually happens that needs worrying! I woke up at 2am to worry about my morning appt...and not once did I actually come up with what actually happened. I am so impressed and grateful to that dr and his staff...thanks again
