What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
I think I missed it? Pumpkin yogurt (pre-made?)?

I started making my own pumpkin yogurt after pumpkin spice season ended last year (because I love it so much!!). I just mix 2 parts plain Greek yogurt with 1 part canned pumpkin (I do make my own plain Greek yogurt, but commercial plain Greek yogurt works just fine, too).
Then I add artificial sweetener (Splenda or stevia) (the best is that brown sugar/Splenda blend because the brown sugar gives it a more complex flavor, but then....calories. And sugar. Plain Splenda or stevia are fine)
then I add some vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and sometimes some extra cinnamon in addition to the pumpkin pie spice, to taste.
ta da! I eat mine with some bran cereal mixed in. Very filling!

Morning Menu Peeps!
QOTD: I was raised in Suburban Houston... in apartment complexes mostly until I was an adult... then moved smack dab into city central of Chicago (I could hear and walk to the Cubby games)... then on to Suburbia Atlanta... Suburbia Tulsa... Then we moved to Just outside of Oklahoma City (30 miles out). Now we have 5 acres, horses, chickens, raised and processed a cow (and chickens) and it takes me 20-25 minutes to get to a Target... 10 minutes to get into our little town that has a Dollar General and a small grocery store. While I love aspects of our 'country/rural' living, I really miss the city. Plans are to move back into the city when our youngest graduates in a few years, because I think I'm more of a city person... but I LOVE having fresh eggs, and the beef we raised is phenomenal... I'd like to raise another one before we leave. I need 'country' in the 'city'... to be able to walk to local places, ride bikes around the city, be where the 'limelight' is, yet have my piece of the country there too... I don't think it's possible. I apparently have two personalities... I'm not sure which one will win out in the end
Accountability: We went out to eat last night... I managed to have only one small bite of the fresh yeast rolls they lady brought to the table... I think I cried while watching Hubs eat TWO of them! I had a glass of wine as well... One step forward, one step back... I think that's how maintenance goes.

L: Leftover steak (It was a 12 oz ribeye, and I came home with 8.2 ounces, score for THREE meals worth!)

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
QOTD: I grew up in a smallish town in Nebraska and still live here, although now it has grown to 30.000 people. It has University of Nebraska at Kearney here, so we have art shows, concerts, plays and other such attractions. Right now our house is one mile outside of town so it feels like it's in the country. Across from us is a sheep farm and next to us is a corn field. But it's still close enough to run into town in a hurry. The best of both worlds!
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 77, Calories - 1,180, Carbs - 130.

Hi Teena and my fellow RNYers! Short work weeks mess me up! I hate rain, my osteo-arthritis in my knee & ankle is making me a grumpy girl today. What I wouldn't give for an Advil right now!
Accountability: 100% on plan from yesterday's menu.
QOTD: I grew up in the Country. We lived on a long winding dead end road and our "neighbours" was a Dairy farm. I was fascinated going over to the farm and seeing all the animals. We were surrounded by woods and my childhood days were spent catching toads & frogs and making tree forts. It was magical. But then a trip to the "city" i.e. Toronto and I was hooked. I left at 21 and never went back. I currently live in a massive city/subdivision but we have a lot of green space, parks and hiking trails very close to us so it feels like the best of both worlds.
3.11 years post op RNY - here is what I have planned & inputted in MFP for the day (same menu as yesterday, it worked well so I am eating it again today)
B: decaf coffee + vanilla Premier Protein used as creamer
L: mixed salad at work (greens, chick peas, hard boiled egg) + balsamic dressing
S: two cheese strings + cashews
D: 4oz of chicken strips + sweet thai chili sauce
S: skyr vanilla yogurt + SF raspberry jam + bran buds
TOTALS: 921 calories, 107 protein, 52 carbs
V: Patches are on (multi, iron, B12, Vit D & calcium) + 4000 extra Dry D3
E: not sure I might do a "Super Sculpt" class tonight at the gym or rest or clean the house
