What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
QOTD: BOTH!!! I love the city the hustle and bustle, the SHOPPING! lol, but I live in the country. We have hens, 4 dogs, and about an acre of land. My ideal situation is to have some land in the country and a condo in the city, then I could bounce back and forth as needed.
Scale is finally moving and oh so happy. down 2 pounds today.
Food for today:
gizzards
decaf
jelloyogurt
tea
veggies
We are supposedly leaving Friday for the beach but DH was wrecking my plans last night saying he didn't want to take the camper so I had to cancel the reservation. Now I don't know where we are going/if we are going etc. So annoying but he is getting massive shots in his back the day before so that is probably the reason for hesitation. and I don't want him to get hurt more by having to setup a camper. So pland up in the air.
Any chance you could set up the camper? I know how some folks "need" to control certain things in a marriage or relationship so the set-up might be HIS domain, but even if you set it up not quite right, it might be better than not going at all? Just a thought :)

Happy Hump Day Menu Folks.
I have some frozen mexican breakfast thing that I had in my freezer. Looked good when I bought it but to save space I tossed the box it came in and now I don't remember what it was. We'll see. I probably have some steel cut oatmeal as well. I may go out for a salad at lunch.
QOTD. I'm a big city boy but I think deep inside I'm just a beach bum.
Good Morning! Our weather has been pretty nice and hopefully we have seen the last of needing to turn on the A/C for a bit. I hope you get some good results with the compression stockings.
QOTD: I think I am a city girl.

Emiepie -
your exercise routine is freaking intimidating!!! OMG 1 HOUR on the stairs? I can't even!!!!!!

I need to start doing that. I never in my 50 years of life thought I'd say this, but I've developed a serious case of nobuttatall! Even as a skinny kid I had one, but now? not so much.
Plus the stairs works such huge muscle groups you really burn a ton of calories!

glad to hear the pumpkin spice yogurt is a hit - I'm starting to feel a little like Emiepie with her egg salad (although I have a ways to go yet!!)!
busy day on tap for today. I'm at the reference desk from 9:00 - noon, then I've teaching two back-to-back 90-minute classes this afternoon. Yoga tonight - I'll be more than ready for it! One more class tomorrow morning and I'm done (with classes) for the week. YAY!!! Then things slow down quite a bit - just a couple a week. It's all over by the first week in November. Whew!! I was thinking on the way in that I'm ready to throw in the towel after this semester - but then, I may feel differently once these classes are over. My workflow should be a lot more reasonable then. It does make sense to wait until the school year is over for several reasons... (although then next semester we start over with all the classes again - and evening shifts - and weekend shifts - UGH! Do I really want to do this again???)
QOTD: I'm definitely a city person. I currently live in Madison, WI, which has a population of about 250,000. I don't think I'd want to go much smaller than that. I've lived in small towns, and I go nuts in them. Most of the things we enjoy doing you have to be in a city for - at least have close access to one. I do enjoy visiting my brother who lives in the country in western NC, but I don't think I'd want to *live* there. Driving two hours to the nearest airport? Or the nearest interstate? No thanks. At least they have a coffee shop in the nearby town now (c. 20 miles away) - and a yoga studio. But not enough to sustain me for long.
2 years 4 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/4 peach, raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, vanilla protein/Miralax latte shake
L: 1 C tuna chickpea salad (made with Greek yogurt) on a FlatOut FoldIt
D: not sure - and DH won't be home. May just have some pumpkin spice yogurt with bran cereal mixed in
probably another yogurt or frozen protein pudding pop later on tonight
ex: yoga
