What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
I'm posting first, then I'll try to read!!! What a crazy/busy week this has been and it's only Tuesday
Accountability: Last night I had left overs instead of my planned meal, but I was still below my 700 calorie threshold and generally within my macros.
QOTD: I'm still in the weight loss phase... The part I'm worried about is that I feel like I've lost to the point where I look "normal" and people tell me I'm at a good weight, it would be so easy to just stop working and let this be the goal weight (and it is about at my surgeon's goal). I won't do that, I have too many other goals that will keep pulling off the pounds but OMG I never thought I would feel happy with my weight where it is today, a good 20 lbs over my "old" fat weight!
6 mo post RNY/ 150lbs/ Weight Loss Stage
B- (before my morning swim) Chia seed pudding made with an found bottle of slimfast (1/3 of the bottle), 2 TBSP chia seeds, 2 TBSP dehydrated peanut butter and 1 scoop of organic whey protein.
MS- mini bear claw pastry, single strawberry, snack sized yogurt (meeting food)
L- Medium apple
AS- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
D- Shrimp ****tail
ES- Pure Protein Frosty shake
Total Calories: 886, Protein: 124, Carbs: 76, Sugar: 39, Fat: 18
Exercise: last night I missed my "run club" but I went ahead and ran 3 miles on my own, then did my weight circuit at the rec center. I've lifted twice a week for a month and I'm still HATING IT!!!
Even though I'm now six months out, I haven't been able to get back in to my barbaric surgeon due to scheduling issues. I work about 2.5 hours away from where I had the surgery and it's been a pain. I am planning on transferring my care to the hospital system where I'm currently working (OhioHealth in Columbus). Meanwhile I saw my PCP yesterday for my annual wellness visit - and had some basic blood work done. My results came back today and everything looks really good! I know it takes awhile for vitamin deficiencies to show up but my numbers were the same as the 4 month blood work, or better. I'm now off of my blood pressure meds (expected) and my antidepressant (unexpected). I've been referred to a sleep doctor so they can reassess my sleep apnea levels, and I have a referral for a DEXA scan. My PCP thinks that my ultimate weight loss goal of 115 is a good one, and that the DEXA scan will help us see how I'm progressing between now and then. She thinks that going a little below the "normal" range will be healthy and allow for a little long term regain.

Howdy,
Getting desperate so I have cut my calories to below 600, got rid of all carbs except for vitamins that are chewable calcium and have carbs unfortunately and living on protein shakes and chicken breast. I really hate that this is what I have to do if I want to get to goal AGAIN for the third time in 15 years.
QOTD: No, I totally do not feel I have this under control even after 15 years. It will always be work just to be overweight from morbidly obese.
Today:
Breakfast protein shake and some almond milk 30 grams protein/140 calories
20 ounces of coffee
60 ounces of crystal lite watered down
4 ounces of chicken breast, 2 tb of salsa lettuce leaves, two slices tomato and cucumber 225 calories 35 grams protein
Protein yogurt banana cream flavored with protein powder 1/2 scoop of plain protein 130 calories
24 grams protein
total protein: 89 grams protein 495 calories less than 20 carb grams
