What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning and happy Tuesday!
Nice to have a 4 day weekend. Hope no one here wa**** too badly by Nate. We are getting rain here today but I don't know if it's connected or not. I think Nate's path was to be more to the east.
Accountability- yesterday was not bad. I stayed under my calories and carbs so that's good.
QOTD: Mostly for people at goal - but did you ever get to the point where you really feel "I've got this". I'm terrified that I will not lose all my weight or that I will regain. I saw the article on the front page about strategy and I am going to read it when I'm done this post.
Just a reminder - about AMAW starting Monday. I will post a reminder as well.
Menu:
B: Protein shake
L: Leftover turkey and squash! Yummy!!
D: Saudage I think
S: Pumpkin Spice yogurt- Thank you Trish!
Exercise - I've not been doing good in this area. I am planning a workout for today though.
Vitamin patches are on. Extra vitamin d and calcium to follow.
Heading to the dr today to have my varicose veins checked out. I have 3 spots that are sore and swollen. Hoping treatment is going to be covered by our healthcare.
Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning :)
My goodness it was hard to wake up and get out of my warm bed this morning. I went to bed super early last night and the puppies woke up and both had accidents at 10:30pm -- which shows how early I was asleep lol. I even took them out right before bed. Yesterday we went to view a farm property with my MIL. We think it will be too much for her on her own as it is a full beef/dairy setup. She would change it to sheep though. It was a nice day to be outside!!
QOTD: I don't feel I can really contribute, but thanks for pointing out the article. I think I will read that as well :)
Post-op two years, seven months.
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - Greek yogurt
Lunch - leftover omelette
Snack - bacon jerky
Snack - pepperoni and cheese
Dinner - leftover turkey dinner
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water and vits.
Good morning! It is a beautiful day here - Sunny and supposed to be in the high 70's! I'm going to make today one of my 2 short work days today and take DH to the beach (amazing in early October).
Thanks for the AMAW/CAMAW reminder. I checked the email you sent previously yesterday and added a couple of people to the spreadsheet.
QOTD: I feel like I know exactly what to do to maintain, but feel that I have to stay FOREVER vigilant. I plan to keep getting the support I get on OH, logging, planning meals, weighing food, weighing myself daily, etc. As one of my VSG support group members said we are all "just one crisis from fu...dom"! So, to clarify, I don't really "got this", but I know what I SHOULD continue doing.
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 22 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Shrimp, veggies
S: baked apple

Good morning menu folks! I enjoyed my 3 day weekend. I got in a hike and some extra swimming which were nice. I also had my final appointment with my sleep doc to end my treatment for sleep apnea. I donated my CPAP machine because I don't need to use it any more. That is excellent news.
I will be MIA for the rest of the week since I am going on a retreat and they don't have wifi. There should be alot of time for hiking and walking though so that is good. I am taking a number of protein related snacks to help me get through the days with temptations. I am hopeful that I will stay protein forward even though I don't know what the meals will be.
Menu:
Breakfast: veggie omelet, turkey bacon
Snack: Grape protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: pork chops, TJ's Hodge Podge veggies
Exercise: 45 minutes on the treadmill
