Good morning!

I have a 5 yr old so sleeping in does not happen. It's ok though. I feel guilty and/or weird if I ever sleep past 7:30 anyway. Normal wake up time around here is 6:30. I get up and dressed right away then if I have time I do like to relax with coffee and a book.

accountability- This weekend we went camping with a bunch of other people. There was so much crap food there. I ate a few chips. Literally just a few but still, I wish I didn't. I did not plan my food but other than the chips stuck to a very normal routine of string cheese, protein shakes and veggie patties.

B- coffee, string cheese

L- 2oz sliced ham

D- triple zero yogurt

today will be 1 of my 2 days a week off from exercise. It's pouring out all day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

QOTD: While I enjoy a good night's sleep, "in" is not required. I don't like sleeping past 9am particularly because then I feel like the day starts to get away from me. I also like to stay up late and get a second wind- like 2 nights last week. One night I was rearranging my bedroom furniture at 11PM and another I stayed up until 3:30AM sorting closets. Been trying to do a purge. So late and early is quite a conumdrum.

Had a 65th Birthday party for my neighbor at an italian restaurant yesterday. Overall good, had shrimp scampi as I know they never give you many shrimp. Not eating the pasta was easy, as I am highly allergic to fresh basil as in one bite and my throat starts to close....even though I told them, there were green things in the pasta pomodoro and I wasn't taking any chances. After I ate my protein I did have a garlic knot and it was good. The cake was from an amazing bakery so I knew I couldn't do - 'just one bite' so I just said no, but did have one italian cookie. I enjoyed it but it was hard to say no to another, but I did.

B: usual latte, french omelette with Greek yogurt onion and chives cream cheese (had this yesterday, it was amazing)

L: Grilled chicken on sandwich thin

pre-workout- Bulgar wheat and one TBSP PB.

D: TBD Maybe fish and spinach

S: Yogurt, protein drink

Ex: gym

Good morning :)

We did our Thanksgiving meal yesterday with my parents and siblings so today will just be a quiet day. Everyone stayed with us but they left this morning. Today I might do a bit of cleanup or some raking to tidy up the yard.

QOTD: I love sleeping in but the puppies don't really let me and once I'm awake I start thinking too much. Usually about what I want to get done that day. Today I slept in until about 8:30. Tomorrow might be hard getting up at 6am though.

Post-op two years, seven months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - protein pancake

Lunch - turkey leftovers of course ;)

Snack - Greek yogurt

Dinner - hopefully not turkey lol.

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all the Canadians!

We got to go horseback riding again yesterday. So much fun!

QOTD: I love sleeping in, but am usually up by 6 am now days. My dog usually wakes me up, but even on the days when she doesn't, I wake up by 6. I don't know if it has to do with the surgery or my old age or what. I used to be a real night person. I would stay up until the wee hours of the morning and sleep in really late, but not any more. I usually go to bed by 10:30 pm and get up by 6 am. I do usually take a nap, in the afternoon, though.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 78, Calories - 1,025, Carbs - 114.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: chicken stir fry

D: hamburger patty with melted cheese

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana

E: Walking

Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

Morning Menu Peeps!

QOTD: I used to LOVE sleeping in... and did so until recently (WLS induced? Not sure). Now I'm up when there is still a '7' on the clock at the latest, unless I force myself to stay in bed. It doesn't help that our dogs always used to wake us up at the regularly scheduled wake up time of 5:15. But now that we've lost the two boxers, our Yorkie will usually go until about 7 or so... but even if Hubby gets up with her, I still am awake. I miss being a late night/late morning sleeper... I think it naturally comes with age, and I just hate that!

Had a great weekend with the kid's band. Another Invitational Competition this weekend, with our final State Competition this coming Saturday. So hard to watch and realize that this is my daughter's last year! Yikes! I'll have a busy week/end as I'm leaving Thursday after work to head to Frisco, TX and meet up with my 'mom' friends, then head to Broken Bow, OK on Friday morning... I'll be leaving the party early as I have to then trek back to Yukon, OK for our State Final Competition... I need to be there before 7pm. Sunday I will be wishing and hoping that I can sleep in for sure!

Accountability: I did pretty good considering the cir****tances on Saturday, as the band had a complimentary lunch for the volunteers that consisted of many things, including cheetos and fudge striped cookies, but I took my butt for a walk and went to my car and ate salami and a cheese stick instead... but then I caved and ended up with a bag of Kettle popcorn... and I ate wayyy too much of it! Win one lose one... my lifelong battle for the future.

Weight this morning 138.2. Up a little, but I also didn't get in enough water yesterday after the popcorn fiasco Saturday. I am trying to be really clean so my weekend coming up won't be too bad on the scale. So ready for CAMAW on Monday morning! I'm going to so need it!

Maintenance diet/ almost 17 months out.

B: 4 ounces of chicken salad and a few pork rinds

L: Salami and cheese stick

S: beef jerky and nuts

D: Beef fajitas with the fixings/ sans the torilla (or a bite or two since that's my usual MO these days)

S: Latte Love!

Vitamin patches locked and loaded... exercise on hold at the moment...

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!! I have today off so we are headed to the beach with the dogs soon. I may get in a movie or a hike with my kiddo later and finish a few projects around the house.

QOTD - I'm up by 5 on workdays and 6-7 on weekends. I don't want to sleep in any later than that or I would feel like I'm wasting the day. I love the quiet morning w/my coffee. I go to bed early - by 9 and often before that! Naps are super rare for me.

Accountability - about 10 oven fried potatoes bites made their way into my mouth yesterday - all while doing the dishes...darn dishes...

10 mo post op -- 174 ok

b-coffee w/hc, SB coffee w/hh, bacon

l-hamburger

d-chicken

v/l - on track

Hello everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians!

I'm still fighting the flu and feel like crud.

Accountability: I've been eating on plan but not enough protein at all. My appetite still has not returned. I'm up 3lbs, i'm guessing it's because of all the sodium in the chicken soup.

I highly doubt I will be eating all that is on my menu but here it is:

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage

L: 3oz turkey

S: 2 oz turkey

D: 2oz pork chop, 2oz keilbasa, 1/3C broccoli rabe

S: ostrim meat stick

Cals:718, Carbs:6, Protein:91

Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!
