Happy Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!

We're having our Thanksgiving dinner today, so I am being surrounded by pies...send me lots of willpower.

QOTD: I couldn't do without my food and body scales, and my mug warmer. I love my mug warmer and still use it every day; it keeps my decaf and herbal teas hot, and even keeps my food hot until I'm done. It's my hands down favourite thing.

I also still do premier protein, in my decaf and herbal teas (1/4 cup per mug of beverage). It's an easy and yummy way to add extra protein. I'm really loving decaf and vanilla PP mixed with some pumpkin pie spice right now.

Meals at 8 months post op RNY

Breakfast; 2 decaf with total of 1/2 cup premier protein, cheese string

Lunch: 1/2 cup chili topped with 1/4 cup Greek yogurt

Supper: turkey, 1 tsp sugar free cranberries, green beans or salad

Snacks: strawberries with sugar free coolwhip

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

1st Day of (3 weeks worth of) Optifast: Jan. 11, 2017

Surgery Date: Feb. 1st, 2017

It's a great long weekend and I'm able to post for once!

QOTD: I love this question cause I can't wait to read all the answers! I use my phone for tracking all my food, weight and exercise ( or recently lack there of) but my favorite after surgery device has to be my keurig I am in love with this thing. I love putting premier protein in my coffe for cream and sf torani or jordons skinny syrup. Meat isn't an issue for me as I seem to be able to handle anything, I actually wish something would fill me up but the only thing that gives me a satisfied feeling right now is heavy fat items like nuts and it butters

Accountability: I've done well over the last few days I think it's because if I'm really craving something that's on plan such as nuts, I'm eating it and allowing myself to plan for that as opposed to forcing myself to stay lower fat I think my body is really sending me some good messages

I usually don't post when I'm not sure what I'm eating and I have No idea about food yet but it will be protein for word and low carb and around 900 calories.

Happy Thanksgiving. My SIL hosts all the family holiday dinners and she and her husband are big on Atkins right now so she is excited to make some sugar free stuff for the holidays. Pie doesn't really call my name but those big giant doughy rolls do.

My phone. I track my food on an ap. I'm counting my steps with it too. I can also read OH on the go. I have a really good scale that remains accurate. I use a crockpot a lot because I believe in moist meat and I don't like to cook.

TOday..shrimp,jerky,yogurt,apple,and coffee. Maybe some roast beef too. I track my food as I eat it so I can stay aware of calories. It take stress away for me doing it that way.
