Hi, I just had surgery almost 3 months ago so I thought I would lose more during the honeymoon period.

As a revision, you don't have the same "honeymoon" period that a first time WLS patient has. Like I said, my surgeon told me the weight would come off, but it could take up to a YEAR, and I had about 23 lbs to lose. Be patient. It will happen as long as you stick to plan.

So true about exercise and mental health going hand in hand.

I try try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I wake up every morning, drink coffee and walk. With my music of course

I hear you, the weight loss really does slow very quickly. I would suggest that when you are feeling down is when you should try harder to come around to this site. I think keeping everything fresh and on your mind is one of the best ways to stay on track in the tough times.

I'm sorry that you are struggling, and I hope you see a big move on the scale soon.

I'm sorry you are so down. I understand. It's hard not to want it all off YESTERDAY! You don't have too far to go though. Hang in there!

4 pounds in a month is a perfectly reasonable amount to lose after the initial post-op loss. Slow and steady! A steady average of 1 pound per week is good progress, even if we wi**** would go faster.

I see on your signature that you've lost 148 pounds...that is amazing! 4 pound loss is better then zero. I'm sure it's just a stall.

Hugs! I'm sorry you're down.

i get that stall struggle. I've been stuck in the 190's for too long, so I hear you. It's definitely depressing and defeating. But we've got this my friend.

Measure yourself hon. If you are only eating 600 calories you are losing inches if not pounds. Your hormones are all over the place also.More excercise will help get some good endorphins working. The best is yet to come
