Good morning :)
I think it's funny because I have been typing my responses during my morning walk from my car to my office. My counselor says she is kind of pleased that it's a fifteen minute walk from my car to the office because switching to an office job where I sit most of the day could be hard when trying to keep my weight off. So two birds with one stone ;)
Also, I realized that I'm five months from my three year followup and I want to lose ten pounds before then. I know what to do. I have a goal and a timeline. Why is it so hard on a daily basis to implement?
QOTD: I don't have a bucket list per se but I have a list of things I want to try now that I have lost weight. I made the list before surgery. One thing I already did was ride an upside-down rollercoaster at Disney world. I also want to try horseback riding. I have it written down somewhere. Maybe that would help my motivation :)
Post-op two years, seven months.
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - Greek yogurt
Lunch - chicken
Snack - peanuts
Snack - pepperoni, cheese
Dinner - probably more chicken
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water and vits.
QOTD: totally forgot, see one track mind here- I have goals for each year and month that I build up. Going golfing, zip lining is still on the year list. Need to book it.I still want to parasail, skydive, hot air balloon, mybe do some more 5k, maybe train for a 10k then 1/2 marathon. sometime.
Hey yall- so happy for the weekend. tomorrow we are going to a 40 year anniversiary party for the neighbors and their kids. Very sweet. They are in their 80's. Then we are having games at the neighbors house after. Yes we play board games with people in their 70-80's. they are our retired neighbors and very nice peeps. I bake desserts for them and they gobble them up on pretty china with tea and coffee. :) sunday I don't hav eplans yet but I think I will go to the grocery store, or maybe talk my niece into kayaking. not sure. also Sat is an open house at my house for selling. there will be bbq involved. we will be at the party and out of the realtor's hair.
Last night we went to mexican. I had innards of taco's chicken and 1 beef. it was unlimited taco for $8.99 and very yummy. then i had ice cream. this does not happen very often in my life and it HAS to be awesome for me to even go there. it was chocolate marshmallow oreo and worth it.
Eats for today:
homemade coleslaw
tuna
HB egg whites
decaf/protein powder
pics are of one of our hens laying, a boho dress I wore last week (wasn't crazy about the outfit overall it was just ok), and this farm I bought alpaca and water buffalo meat at a few weeks ago. So far I've had alpaca sausage, buffalo rib, and tonight will be alpaca burgers on the grill.
QOTD: I want to not have to do my own laundry. Or make my own bed. Or cook & clean
Basically I just want to live in a nice hotel.
