question about eggs
I am 4 weeks and one day post op. I have tried eggs once before today and they did stay down. Today I tried a scrambled egg with a tiny bit of greek yogurt mixed in. 2 tiny bites later and my pouch is tight feeling. I chewed it up very well and they were tiny bites. How long does it usually take before you could have eggs with no problems?
I started with soft boiled. Scrambelled can still trip me up if I eat them too fast.

It took me about 4 months before I could eat a whole egg without issues. I did not want to give them up, so I kept trying. I liked that they were and are still so incredibly filling.

I've had no problems with eggs thankfully. I started with omelets and scrambled and now have a hard boiled egg many mornings for breakfast. It really does seem to vary between people. I'd say just keep trying.

I am 11 years out with a band and I can oly have soft poached, or scrambled wet. I willnot touched scrambled hard but I can tolerate boiled soft. I love eggs, it took me a few years to figure out howcto eat them but I can now. Going out to eat I only do poached, seems it is the only way to ensure they come right.
