What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?
Good morning- on my way in to work for what will be a busy stressful day I think but that's okay.
It?s Friday eve!! And a long weekend here in Canada as Monday is a holiday. Our nice weather continues. We did have some rain and wind yesterday but overall it's been pretty nice.
Accountability was good yesterday.
QOTD: What keeps you motivated? I was discouraged by the scale this morning - it's back to 180.1 which makes no sense at all. So I got dressed in my new jeans and a cute plaid shirt and felt good about what I saw in the mirror which definetly helped. But I remind myself of my why- the reasons I did this in the first place- better health, better mobility and the cute clothes don't hurt.
Menu:
B: Strawberry Shakeology
L: Salad Bar
D: TBD - hubby is home today so whatever he feels like cooking
Vitamin patches are on, and gym bag is packed.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning! I wish Monday was a real holiday here (one you have to take). It is an optional holiday, so no one ever takes it (same for most holidays now except New Years, Memorial Day, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas). But I guess everyday is a holiday for me after 11/13!
QOTD: My motivation is feeling strong and healthy, and being able to enjoy wearing my clothes. I do have to also add that spending the $ on PS had an unexpected benefit in that I am darned that I'm going to gain weight after spending it to get the flat tummy I have now!
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 25 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Emiepie's egg salad
D: 1/2 Real Good Pizza (didn't get to have it last night)
S: protein chips, Baked apple
Liz 5'3" HW: 219 SW: 185 GW: 125 LW: 113 Desired maintenance range: 120-125 CW: 119ish
Good morning Teena and menu folks! I'm working from home today and tomorrow so my weekend seems even longer. Plus I am going away to a retreat most of next week, so I feel like I have a real vacation. I needed it. Just some time away to relax.
QOTD: I do alot of journaling that helps me to stay balanced, I think. It helps me to look at what is holding me back and how I can change what's happening. I too also try to remind myself of all of the NSV's like good health and improved strength that I have gotten already.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Grape protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: Turkey breast, baby carrots
HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
My daughter and I had a WONDERFUL time yesterday horseback riding! The leaves are just beginning to turn colors and everything was so beautiful. Picture to come tomorrow for Photo Friday.
QOTD: My improved health and being able to walk & move around so much easier now, plus liking the way I look and feel help keep me motivated.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 76, Calories - 975, Carbs - 94.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: beef pot roast
D: stuffed peppers
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana
E: Walking around the subdivision. (Blossom is limping so I might just walk by myself).
Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

Good morning... Today is my Friday!! Fun day planned tomorrow with my nieces and sister in law.. So excited... Taking the nieces to buy Halloween costumes! I am supposed to have Monday off but Hubs has to work so I think I am going to sneak into the office and get some work done in the quietness!
QOTD: Unfortunately the scale keeps me motivated which I'm not sure is a good thing. I was down this morning and I was happy that when I was on my trip last week I did not gain anything considering one night there was a few to many adult beverages but on average I was walking a lot!
My food for the day:
B: Bacon coffee with premier
L: Ham and cheese
S: yogurt
D: hot dog no bun
S: peperoni and cheese
Have a great one friends... See you on the flip side
Good morning,
I am so tired this morning. I had a hard time sleeping once I got home late last night and I had to be up 4:45am so it makes for a short night. Coffee may need to be ingested via IV! I plan to walk to get a triple skinny latte later this morning.
QOTD: Not wanting to ever be as heavy as I once was. I love being able to run, look good in clothes, and have greater self confidence but the fear of being "fat" again really keeps me going. Since I'm in maintenance I have a panic weight and I truly begin to panic if I'm above it (ask Stacy she has to listen to me poor girl). My panic weight needs to be lowered but I'm working on that.
On a side note, I don't weigh myself nearly as often when I'm training for an endurance race. I usually go by how my body looks and feels rather than the number on the scale. Not recommended but I'm being honest.
Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months
B: Iced coffee with premier protein (again, THANK YOU DAISY!)
S: Triple skinny latte and light string cheese
L: Cobb salad, no blue cheese or avocado
S: Meat stick and possibly another iced coffee
D: Protein and a salad
E: I think I'll throw in a quick ab dvd
W/V: Started
Have a great day all!
