QOTD: Sometimes I still use food rewards but only after a long run or ride. I like to treat myself with "me time usually. Long bath, window shopping, baking for the kiddos (bake but not eat).

I was off plan horribly yesterday. It all started with muffins at a morning meeting, then snowballed into pizza for lunch, lo mien noodles for dinner and two after dinner ****tails. Ugh. I feel gross today. Need to be better today.

Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months

B: Complete cookie and iced coffee with premier protien

S: Meat snack

L: Protein and veg (out with a friend)

S: String cheese and nuts, iced coffee with premier protein

W/V: Started

E: None, dorm duty tonight

Have a great day all!

today's going to be another crazy one. I'm at the reference desk from 9-12, then teach a 12:05 class, then another class right after that. I'm going to be fried by mid-afternoon. UGH. But at least the rest of the week is light.. There are three events I was thinking of going to tonight, but I think I might just punt them and go to yoga instead. I had long meetings Monday night and last night, and a crazy day today, and I'm afraid I'm not going to have the energy to do much else!

QOTD: I don't think I reward myself, now that I think of it - food or otherwise. A treat for me is sitting at a coffee shop with the newspaper or my laptop, so I guess that - but then, I do that three or four mornings a week, so it's not really a "reward".

2 years 4 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries & pomegranate seeds

S: coffee with half & half, pumpkin vanilla protein latte shake

L: don't have time - so probably just a protein bar

AS: may have a Fit & Light yogurt since I'll probably be hungry ****ep some in my office fridge)

D: lentil vegetable soup and a salad of some sort

Good morning menu peeps! Lily and I have our 3.6 miles in and will do another mile after supper. Accountability was good yesterday--both walks done and no extra bites. QOTD rewards for me are usually time spent doing things I enjoy like knitting or stopping housework to read a good book. Post op 5 years 1 month and weight at 118 today. Heres the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and 1 T peanut butter added L 1/2 c crab salad 4 baby carrots for some crunch D 31/2 oz ribeye 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added strawberry jelly. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goals!

Good Morning :)

It is a rainy day here today. I'm soaked past my knees -- and I had decided to wear my new dress pants!! I'm happy it's Wednesday. We have a long meeting every Tuesday that I have to prepare for so that makes Wednesday seem better.

QOTD: This is terrible but I love scratch tickets. I have since I was a kid -- my grandma used to take me to the store to get them. I never smoked or drank or partied, so some of my extra money went to that. I even know that it is a terrible habit and I still love it!! :)

Post-op two years, six months.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt

Snack - protein bar

Lunch - leftover steak and cauliflower

Snack - bacon jerky, cheese stick

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

Love me some Shaun T, not bad to look at while you exercise.

QOTD: I think food will always be an important part of celebration, it's just realizing everyday is not a celebration. I think retail therapy is always a welcome reward.

Don't know if I said this on here but scheduled my second shoulder surgery for October 19th. Soon but the stress is killing me and I need to get it behind me.

B: usual latte, turkey burger

L: TJ roast turkey on sandwich thin

D: grilled chicken parm with spinach

S: yogurt, protein drink, homemade trail mix

ex: PT and gym
