Hello!

I haven't been posting this past week because I've been super busy. My cousin just moved to Germany and we were over celebrating him all weekend. I'm going to miss him a lot. He's more like a brother to me.

QOTD: I'm not a big shopper. In stores I like to get in and get out. However, I'm a sucker for online shopping and books.

A: yesterday was my birthday. I did pretty well. I stayed ultra low calorie and ultra low carb all day, knowing we would be going out to eat for dinner. We had Thai food and I made a healthy choice, however I did allow myself one crab rangoon. Oh my heavens, it was so tasty. But I ate it slowly and appreciated every bite. And I stopped at just one. I won't be eating anything else like that for a long while, but I know it's a slippery slope.

M: to make up for my carb intake yesterday (just around 50g), I'm staying really low for the next few days.

M1. Protein Shake

M2. Hard boiled egg

M3. Tuna fish

M4. Chicken Soup. Literally just chicken in chicken broth. I have a bit of a cold and it sounds comforting.

E: light yoga

Good morning everyone!

I woke from such a wonderful dream this morning - so colorful, so much beauty, and so happy. Such a promising way to start the new day!

QOTD: I enjoy shopping in general. Though I'm down 77.5 pounds, I haven't bought new clothes yet that would fit me now. I still have a major amount to lose, and I have a closet (actually, closets) full of gorgeous clothes, though I can't fit in any of them yet. When I'm slim, though, I love clothes shopping! I still am wearing the few skirts and tops which fit me from before I started my pre-op diet. They still fit - sort of! Actually the tops fit fine, they are Larges and XLs, but the skirts have become ridiculously longer on me! Virtually ankle-length! Plus the waistbands are now riding low on my hips, rather than sitting snugly on my waist. I guess it really is time for some new clothes!

I also love buying art supplies of all kinds and books, books, books. And of course gorgeous essential oils for my business! I do wish they weren't so costly! I'd absolutely love to buy some gardenia "tiare" absolute - now going for $900 per ounce! Actually I just wish I was richer! Also, I have been so into Christmas stuff! I mean, decorating items, ornaments, etc. My darling mother passed away a few days before Christmas several years ago. I was so fortunate to be able to take care of her for the last couple of years of her life - genuinely that was an honor and a pleasure, she was an amazing person. Anyway, after she passed, I just couldn't get into Christmas in the same way as before, and for many years I couldn't even put up a tree. Finally last year I started enjoying making everything beautiful for Christmas again, and it seems like after all those years of ignoring yuletide decorating, my Christmas-ophile tendencies have come roaring back with a vengeance! I stare and state at the fireplace and envision just how I'm going to decorate it this year. Strange, I know!

First: Cappucino protein drink

B: 1.7 oz. ham off the bone, 0.3 oz. cheddar

L: 2 oz. BBQ pulled chicken

D: 1.7 oz. deli turkey, 0.3 oz. cheddar

S: either another protein drink or some Greek yogurt

Good morning menu friends -

The scale finally decided to move for me today!!! It went down 2.2 pounds. I was a very happy girl this morning.

Enjoying my day off today. Didn't get much done yesterday, just relaxed and hung out. Did get laundry done though. Now I have to clean house today.

QOTD: I used to hate shopping of any kind. Now I don't even mind grocery shopping. I love clothes shopping, but I really need to reign that in until I get to goal. I have bought things and never even got to wear them, because they were too big by the time I tried to wear them.

I am actually going on a shopping trip this weekend to Omaha, Nebraska. It's a yearly trip that the place I work at plans out every year. We. The people that want to go pay $60 a person for the bus fair and 2 people sharing a motel room (it's less for more people share a room). We are slowed to take one guest with us us, I'm taking my favorite aunt with me, I'm sure we will have alot of fun!!

Accountability - completely on plan yesterday.
