Good morning everyone~ Working on getting my head on straight and so far, so good. besides OH, I usually write/journal daily, but the last few weeks I just haven't and I didn't even realize it was missing... Yesterday I wrote for what seemed like hours and got a lot my out. Weeks and weeks of stress and letting my emotions get the better of me has really taken its toll. I hate that I allow certain thoughts to fester in this way. Writing therapy helps me immensely so I can't forget to make that part of my day - everyday.
I've also changed my goal weight again. Originally it was 175, then I changed it to 140. I've decided that 159 is perfect for a one year goal for me and will put my loss at 150 pounds- not too shabby. I will listen to my body and reassess at that time.
QOTD - I love to shop for anything, but clothes are my favorite, then food and home goods. I'm so used to online shopping for plus size that I'm still having to remind myself that I can shop in real stores now. I think I get way better deals online though.
Accountability - really good yesterday, yay!

Mornin' everyone!
I think I mentioned that I taught two classes yesterday. Their regular instructor was a PhD student - probably 30 years old. At least twice I caught him staring at my rear end. Thirty years ago this would have bothered me, but now I just find it funny. First of all, I'm old enough to be his mother (in fact, I may be *older* than his mother...), secondly, if he only knew that three years ago I weighed almost 400 lbs. HA! Anyway, it made my day, in a weird sort of way...
Accountability - I did fine all day up until around 9:00 at night. I made a grilled peach topped with vanilla Greek yogurt and bran cereal. Healthy stuff, but it put me a couple hundred calories over my limit. Ugh. Will be more careful today...
QOTD: I've never really liked shopping. My mother used to drag us around to the malls on the weekends (she's a shopaholic), and I hated it. I'm still not crazy about it. I go in to get what I need and then leave. I mostly shop at second-hand stores now (got hooked on them while I was in weight loss mode - and I've continued shopping at them). I have a pretty full wardrobe at this point, though, so there's really no need. For a lot of non-clothes items, I get them online so I don't have to go to the store.
2 years 4 months out today!!
B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/4 mango, raspberries, bran cereal
S: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake
L: chicken salad (made with yogurt) on top of spring mix
D: soup and salad (at a dinner meeting)
will probably skip a snack later due to overdoing it yesterday
Good morning,
Qotd not as much as I used to. Probably because of financial reasons. I enjoy getting stuff when I do buy.
Accountability had popcorn last night but was still in my calorie range.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D going out for dinner
Have a wonderful day

QOTD: I was born with a golden pacifier in one hand and and credit card in the other. There is nothing I do notlove to shop for. Nothing.
Accountability:
Menu was already uploaded to MFP and I don?t have time to change it before posting, but I never made it to Starbucks this morning, so subtract out 175 Calories from the total. Boo. I love coffee.
Good morning gang (it's still morning!) I'm working from home today, so I'm sitting here watching Divorce court and doing data entry. i thought I'd take some time and post, since I am a little more relaxed at home. The only thing that makes me sad is I actually got dressed today, instead of wearing my PJs.
DZQOTD: Do I like shopping? Umm, yes! I went shopping on Sunday, my oldest son needed a new pair of shoes since he split the side out of the ones he had. They lasted for a whole year, so I can't complain. But while I was walking through JC Penney, they were having a huge sale, and had 50% off of all accessories. I ended up getting a new purse. It's a gorgeous dusty pink leather purse that was originally $80, so I took it up thinking it would be $40, but since I used by Penney's card, it actually rang up at $29! Score! I love to shop for most everything, even groceries. LOL
just over 2 years post op. My weight yesterday morning was 162.0 on the nose.
Here is my menu, copied and pasted directly from MFP. The calories are high, but I'm working with my new support group and therapist and we're doing this thing. We'll see how it works.
