What's on your Monday Menu RNyers?
Good morning and Happy Monday!
A busy week for me. I'm going to be working a fair bit of overtime this week. Weekend was good- my dad came out on Saturday and spent 2 nights. He's headed back home this morning.
I had a Thirty-One Gifts party on Facebook last week and it went well. I'm looking forward to getting my stuff. I?ve been looking for a good wallet for a while and one of the things I ordered was an All About the Benjamins wallet. A few friends have it and love it. Here's hoping.
QOTD: Canadian Thanksgiving is a week today. It's a pretty laidback holiday for us - we will have DH's parents over for dinner and cook turkey and squash for sure. Christmas is my favourite holiday though- so what's yours? And we are looking forward to experience our first American Thanksgiving this year when we head to PA to visit my SIL and BIL.
Menu today:
B: Strawberry Shakeology
L: leftover ham and cauliflower from Sunday dinner
D: Chicken quarters - probably just roasted - and California veggies
S: Probably plain Skyr yogurt with strawberries
E: starting a new Beachbody program today but haven?t decided which one yet. Plus will be going to the gym at lunch. Not sure if it will be the elliptical or something else.
Vitamin patches are on, plus additional calcium and vitamin D and B12. Hoping for better numbers in this areas when I get my next labs done.
Have a great day everyone! I'm so glad for the awesome group on here.
Forgot the scale - down a little more today. 178.1

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning. We went to central Mass for a BBQ and to see DD (also got apples at an orchard) yesterday. It was a beautiful fall day! Today is back to work (which I am dreading more and more as the end is in sight).
QOTD: I like Christmas best. Now it is mostly the decorations and music I enjoy. For 20 years we hosted big family get togethers but that changed over the last few years. All holidays were tough for a long time after eldest DD died, but I started enjoying them again after a while.
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 29 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Emiepie's egg salad
D: Leftover tuna sashimi
S: Baked apple (?), Halo top (or breyers delight)

Good morning :)
Off to work today. I had terrible heartburn through the night last night... That is extremely unusual for me as I almost never get heartburn (maybe once a year). There are a couple possibilities -- I took one medication while I was laying down for bed because I had forgotten to take it earlier. It's possible it didn't go down all the way. Another is that I had some peanuts right before bed, but I find it strange that that could cause it.
I also just found out that my brother's college teachers may be going on strike so he has asked to come stay with us if that happens. They have about two weeks to sort things out so I'm hoping that doesn't happen. It's his last year in his program so it would be terrible if that was put in jeopardy.
QOTD: I love Christmas and birthdays. Also, DHs birthday and our first date anniversary are on the same day so we have made our own holiday :) I have made a reservation for us to go for lunch and we have both booked that day off work. I was thinking we might go somewhere in the afternoon.
Post-op two years, six months
Breakfast - Greek yogurt
Snack - almonds
Lunch - pork chop
Snack - egg
Snack - pepperoni, cheese
Dinner - leftover ribs
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water and vits.
Good morning menu folks! I have to be in the office today, I usually telework on Mondays, so I am bummed. I had a nice weekend though. The weather was perfect and I got in some hiking and long walks.
QOTD: I really like Thanksgiving. We usually spend it with my wife's family and that is nice. Christmas is always too stressful in our family so I don't enjoy it.
The scale has been up for a while and it is down a bit this morning, so I'm happy about that.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey bacon
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: TJ's lemon grilled chicken, baby carrots
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: pork chops, TJ's Hodge Podge veggies
Exercise: long walk
