Any plans today? Fun or getting ready for the week?
I keep forgetting that next weekend is thanksgiving (Canada)! And turns out I am hosting, at least part of the weekend. So today is going to partly be about getting this place in hosting shape. Ugh.
And some baking prep for next weekend. And meal prep for the week?? Sounds over ambitious. We'll see what comes of it...
qotd: for those of you who use compression wear, what are you using these days? Both work out and everyday?
I had some spanx type bicycle shorts I used to wear for smoothing under dresses and at the gym, but they are way too big now. Plus my shape has changed a bit, and I'm less concerned about thigh rub, and more about upper tummy control,
Also, I need something for working out. Cardio with my arms can be pretty uncomfortable.
And I need some really high waisted leggings or tights, that keep everything tucked!
accountabilitiy: definitely protein forward, but that's only because I forgot to eat. All I had yesterday was a protein bar ( emergency purchase around 3pm when I realized I'd forgotten to eat) and pork carnita meat with avocado for dinner. Today will hopefully be better. Never in my life did I think I'd become one of those people who "forgets" to eat...

Hello menu family.... I'm back trying to to get into a normal routine. The past couple of weeks have been utter hell and a bit crazy. Last time I posted I was celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary. Well around noon that day I received a phone call that one of my best friends from 2nd grade had passed away that morning from a tragic accident. Needless to say I have been heartbroken that was a very rough week and then I had to go to Las Vegas for a conference. Which was informative and I did have some fun but I am still in shock from my friend passing away and can't believe she is gone....
Today is all about getting ready for the work week, laundry and reviewing my notes from my conference and maybe a nap. I'm tired even though both Friday and Saturday nights I slept 10-12 hours each night I am just plain exhausted and cold I am freezing I am sitting on my couch bundled up like I am going out to play in a blizzard. I think life has finally caught up with me.

B: Coffee with premier... bacon

D: hot dog
S: Yogurt
