Well, I made it and am now back home...
I had my surgery on wednesday morning. Surgeon said it took longer to get good IV assess than my actual surgery took. Gas pain is THE worse, mine is right between my shoulder blades. I started passing gas about an hour before I got discharged and am starting to feel better. The doctor kept me two days cause I guess I was retaining carbon dioxide because of the morpine. I haven't had any trouble getting my fluids in, so I guess I'm blessed that way. Sitting at home now nursing a protein shake. SOOOOOoooo glad I'm on the loser bench now. Thank you to all of you for the advice and support.

Congrats on your surgery. Remember to keep walking. It will help with the gas.
