Dinosaur egg... I used to buy 'dinosaur eggs' 10 in a carton. The carton was the same size and shape as for a regular dozen...

Good morning and happy Friday!! :)

Nothing scheduled at work today but I'm going to stop at my grandma's to pick up some food they have that they won't use.

QOTD: I would say I come from a medium size family. My mom is one of four, biological father one of three, stepdad has one brother, and my grandma was one of seven and we are still close with a lot of them. A typical holiday would have about 25 people with cousins, partners, etc. None of my cousins or siblings have kids yet. I have a younger brother and a younger sister -- she just got married last Saturday. Lots of blended families and remarriages too.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt

Snack - almonds

Lunch - bunless burger

Snack - pepperoni, cheese

Dinner - pork or chicken leftovers

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

thank God this week is almost over! Next week should be a bit lighter. I haven't been to yoga all week because of evening meetings - hopefully I can sneak away from work a bit early today to make a 5:15 yoga class...

QOTD: both of my parents had two siblings. I have two cousins on my mom's side and six on my dad's. My dad's family was really scattered, so we rarely saw them when we were growing up. My mom's family we saw all the time when we lived in Ohio, since they lived there as well. I have no kids and neither does my brother; my sister has one daughter. DH is an only child and so is his mother (his father died decades ago, when DH was a child), so anyway, we have a pretty small family.

2 years 3 months out

B: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberries

S: coffee with half & half, vanilla latte Miralax/protein shake

L: 1 C cottage cheese

D: not sure - something safe

probably another yogurt (maybe homemade pumpkin with TJ's High Fiber cereal)

Happy Friday Teena and RNYers! Lovely family pics Teena! I like the bottom one and how everyone is in a blue theme.

Accountability: 100% on plan. Didn't eat my evening yogurt, I was not hungry at all and my dinner filled me up so much.

QOTD: I come from a tiny family. One sister who has one child, both my parents only have one sibling each and they both never had kids. Our family gatherings are tiny. My husband on the other hand comes from a huge family and it was quite an adjustment to me when we got married to be around such a big family with so many aunts, uncles & cousins, I love it now but it was so different for me coming from such a tiny family.

3.10 years post op RNY - maintenance food - this is what I have planned and inputted into MFP

B: 1/2 cup of egg beaters + 2 slices of bacon

L: can of tuna + balsamic dressing

S: 2 slices of bacon + 2 cheese strings

D: 5oz chicken strips with bbq sauce, trying some new chicken strips I bought at Costco, hoping they are good

S: Skyr vanilla yogurt

2 premier protein shakes used as creamer in my decaf coffee all day

TOTALS: 970 calories, 141 protein, 31 carbs

V: patches are on

E: hoping to go on a 10km run but its supposed to rain so it might be a Netflix on the couch night

Have an awesome weekend everyone!

Here is my photo Friday pic: its Fall here, the temps have dropped to single digits and my hands suffer so bad they are so cold so I bought these cheap $1 kid gloves at the dollar store, they are supposed to be for Halloween and they just made me laugh. Wore them on my run last evening and it was perfect.

Love the gloves!

I can imagine that would be a bug adjustment! My mom's brothers used to live in Ontario so we saw them a lot growing up - my mom's door is always open for company- the more the merrier! I tend to be like her- I love to entertain, love to have big meals- even when we were in our townhouse that was tiny, I would invite people over and we'd just move living room furniture out to make room for everyone. In this house, we have more space- not that it's big but we do have a rec room, and the living room dining room area is bigger.

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!

QOTD: My birth family was just me and my brother, who was 3 years younger than me, until I turned 12 and then my baby brother was born and my 14 year old cousin came to live with us because his parents were killed in a car accident on Christmas day, so he is kind of like a brother to me. My "baby" brother now lives in Virginia and has 3 kids. My cousin lives in California and has 3 kids. My brother that is 3 years younger than me lives here and has 8 kids and 15 grandkids, so when we all get together it is quite a huge group of people. My immediate family is just Saralisa and myself.

Photo Friday: Sorry, using the same picture from last week because not that many people posted last Friday and also because I don't have any new pictures. This is Tippy (chihuahua) and Blossom (mixed breed) going for a walk with me.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 84, Calories - 1,034, Carbs - 82.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: Birdseye Voila cheesy chicken

D: popcorn chicken, broccoli tots

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

E: Walking the dogs around the subdivision

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

~ Karen
