What's on your Friday menu RNYers?
Good morning everyone! It's Friday- yay!
QOTD: Are you from a big family? My dad comes from a family of 12- 6 sisters and 5 brothers and my mom from a family of 7- 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I have over 50 first cousins. Sadly most of them live in Newfoundland and I grew up here in Ontario so I didn't grow up with all of them. For immediate family, I have 1 brother and 1 sister. My sister has 2 kids and I have 3.
Menu:
I slept in again this morning but had to go in to work so it was a busy morning. So my menu involves the cafeteria.
B: 1 egg and 2 strips of bacon
L: Probably something from the salad bar
D: I'm not sure what we will have tonight.
Scale was down again! 180.5 this morning so almost back to 170s.

Good morning Teena and menu folks! I'm so glad that it's Friday. I am ready for the weekend that's for sure. The weather is supposed to be really nice this weekend, finally not so hot, and I hope to get in at least one hike. I'm enjoying figuring out local places that I can hike and trying new trails. Next weekend is a long weekend and I might get in two hikes. I also want to go to REI this weekend and get a pair of hiking boots.
I've included my 7 month pictures from my surgeon's visit. I've only lost 6 pounds since last visit, but I can still tell because my clothes are fitting differently.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Lunch: chicken breast, kale salad
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: shrimp, broccoli
Exercise: long walk or 60 minutes on the treadmill

QOTD: Myself and 2 older sisters. One lives about 35 min from me, the other about 1.15 min away. MY DH has 5 sisters and one brother. It is a huge family with A LOT of drama. We try to stay out.

Last night I listened to my new book, worked in kitchen made crack chicken for dinner on spag squash. Then I made a huge batch of gizzards, one with curry, one with rotis seasoning. We watched speechless, modern family and the lowe files. Went to bed late (12!)

OH and one of my ginormous chix eggs! It looks like a double double if there is such a thing! ouch!
I love that Chloe goes along!
