Surgery is scheduled!
Hi all.
I'm new here -- don't post much but have been reading a lot. Got my insurance approval today, and my surgery is set for Oct. 16. It's exciting and terrifying all at once!
My surgeon doesn't require a liquid pre-op diet -- just two weeks of high-protein, low-to-no carb. I feel very fortunate about this.
I spent this evening ordering supplies from Amazon and the grocery store. I want to be as prepared as possible to make things easy for my husband and for me post-op.
I can't believe I'm finally doing this. It's time.
Good luck!! Oct 16 is just around the corner. How exciting.

All my best! I'll be a year post surgery this month (October 24). Although it's been all about learning and making adjustments in my life, I would not trade it for anything!
It's still hard when people call me thin. I can't get my brain around it! Nothing makes me happier though!! I feel so blessed to have a second chance :)
