What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?
Thank you.. the driving was fine... I did not take any medication prior to driving ...Then I walked around the store shopping (body draped over cart handle hanging on for dear life(lol)). At check out this 400 year old gentleman volunteered to help me to my car and bring my cart back for me. What a sweety but he limped more than i did and i felt like maybe i should help him bring the cart back... The surprising thing for me was that even though I was only gone for two hours I was exhausted!!! My knee absolutely hates me and really let me know it...I think I really need to walk more often!!! It's all good.
Good morning! Yesterday I was celebrating my wife's birthday with her, and we went for a nice drive. She had an out-of-town appointment, so I offered to take the day off and chauffeur her. We were out all day. Did a little shopping, etc.
I walked into a "Tommy Hilfiger" store and just marveled at the clothing quality, and cringed at the cost. I know it's high quality that will last, but I just can't bring myself to spend upwards of $130 on a shirt. It sure was nicely made though. I realized that I'm a fish out of water in any place like that, because I can't justify spending that much on something (never have been much for shopping), but more-so, I have no idea how to shop, still. My brain can't pick out sizes worth a crap. LOL
We stopped at a Swiss Chalet for supper, and split a rib/chicken dinner. A couple of ribs and a bit of chicken, 2 bites of baked potato and 1 bite of coleslaw and I was done. I've never liked ribs - I find they're never done right and are too fatty - but the 3 bites of meat off of these 2 ribs were nice. Still not my favourite. The chicken was good though.
Today: Back to normal.
B: 2 meat sticks and a protein shake
MS: 1/2 cup cottage cheese with red onion/cucumber mixed in
L: The last of the beef/cabbage soup :(
AS: same as MS
S: Unknown, but protein forward.
ES: Struggling a bit with this to be honest - I find myself wanting something around 9pm. Not feeling "hunger" per se, I never feel hunger, so it's still lingering habit that I'm trying to kick. When I eat something it's not really "wrong" foods or too much food, but I want to be more determined in not snacking after supper at all. Gotta tape my mouth shut after supper but still figure out how to enjoy my decaf. LOL

Good morning~ It's supposed to be 90 here today, yuck! I'm going to visit my dad after work and its going to be almost 100 there, double yuck, ugh!
I ordered the new apple watch yesterday I can't wait!! They said shipping wouldn't be until November but that I may get it in October. I've wanted one for a long time and now I'm glad I waited since the 3 series just came out.
QOTD - beef jerky or meat sticks is all I can safely do anymore. I can't do nuts, cheese, cottage cheese, peanut butter or pork rinds as they are slippery slopes for me (I'll overeat) and I can't stand yogurt anymore which is sad. I used to really love it.
Accountability - for dinner I upped my chicken and nixed the blue cheese, it was a better choice.
