What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
I am so with you Stacy on the scale. I am at my not happy number for a month- fluctuating. Most days I am eating less than I was at the beginning of August when I was at my all-time low. ???? Maybe a mini Snickers or something will send it in the right direction?

Afternoon Everyone!
Today's been a great day! I was contemplating not doing my workout this morning because I was sleepy, but just forced myself to go. Totally worth it. I'm exhausted as usual, but I just feel so much happier and strong after. I also notice a huge increase in my productivity. I saw a YouTube video by a wls surgeon and he recommended his patients to NOT workout while they were losing. I'm glad I haven't listened to that advice. It has slowed my weight loss, but I just feel SO much healthier and happier.

Hello menu family!
Accountability: Last night I'd planned on two dinners, one with family the second with friends. My family dinner involved the planned for venison meatloaf, but my five year old nephew made mashed potatoes to go with it, and I had 2 TBSP of them which popped me up in carbs and calories. He had actually dug them out of the garden, washed them, cut them up, and after my sister cooked them he measured and added the cream, butter, and salt & pepper - pretty impressive for a five year old!!! And yeah - they were worth it. Thankfully I don't seem to have issues with the slippery slope when I make these initial slips but if I am to develop issues it will definitely be around the savory carbs. I cut back on my second meal/evening snack which helped reduce the impact of the mashes. Yesterday was a Swim/Bike day and both went as planned.
QOTD: I don't tend to watch TV, but now that the TV show has passed up the books, I'm totally hooked on The Game of Thrones! I also watched some of Orphan Black, and now am anticipating the second season of Stranger Things...

I'm seven pounds from my physician's goal weight, which just seems CRAZY! I'll be hitting the six month mark at the end of this week and should be close to if not under the 150lb mark. That will be a huge milestone for me! I haven't been in this weight range since 2001... It's possible I'll be in the 130s by early January! 135 lbs is the point where I want to get a DEXA scan to confirm that I still have enough body fat to lose to justify my ultimate goal of 115.
