Good morning! Traffic was so bad this morning, but I didn't care, I didn't even cuss or flip anyone off today because I'm in a really great mood! Life is just so good! Everything is falling into place and that makes me happy.
Yesterday, my sister cancelled our hike at the last minute BUT I went to the gym instead! I am definitely sore today but I'm really enjoying my workouts now. I never would have said that about cardio before. It's nice to feel so able and strong.
QOTD - I'll be watching This is Us hopefully tonight, can't wait. I'm also looking forward to the Blacklist and the new Will and Grace. There are others but they aren't coming to mind.
Accountability - totally on plan!
10 mo post op
b-coffee w/hc, SB iced coffee w/hh, HB eggs
l-blackened cod w/a little spicy coleslaw
d-chicken breast w/buffalo sauce and a little blue cheese
es - 2 SF popsicles
v/l - on track
e-30 min cardio, 30 min weight training
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning. Halfway through the week! I felt very unproductive yesterday in the office because I was working with everyone on work transition (my retirement and the department reorganization). I'm going to my in-person support meeting tonight.
I'm glad you are feeling pampered!
QOTD: I was waiting for This is Us (on the DVR, so I'll watch it in the next couple of days). Bull is good too (recorded that as well, as I do everything really). Also Greys Anatomy (not as good as it used to be but I still like it).
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 32 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: shrimp
S: English muffin/peanut butter

Howdy,
Back in frustration land where I cannot seem to lose and even went up a pound and a half from my low. Haven't lost anything since September 11th. UUUUGH. I went to one of those franchise offices for "the exercise coach" www.exercisecoach.com and had my free trial workout. Have one more scheduled next week. The claim is that you only have to do this two time a week resistance training one on one training that are maximized exercise dosing high intensity lasting 20 minutes each. Very expensive! That being said, I felt awesome when I left.
QOTD: I am currently watching the mini series tv show The Sinners with Jessica Biel. Great show. Finished first season of Queen of the South and watching Animal Kingdom with Ellen Barkin and a bunch of hottie CA surf boy criminals and psychopaths.
Food:
Coffee with almond milk
Lunch: Egg beaters with turkey and cheese
Snack: Probably some 45 calorie hot dogs 97%FF kosher
Dinner: Zucchini spaghetti with meat sauce and veggies (probably green beans)
Protein pudding with pb powder

200 lbs lost and 17 pounds below goal !
Hello Everyone,
Quick and late post from me today.
Accountability: Yesterday wasn't great for me. I had too many calories and although I followed my plan and recorded everything I felt like the entire day was spent eating for head hunger. It included lots of carrots, sugar free gum and a quest protein bar which I know isn't horrible when your at goal but it also wasn't needed so I'm working on that today and hoping to get to the root of the issue that's causing all the head hunger.
QOTD: Not really a TV watcher. If I see anything it's on HGTV
B: decaf, premier protein, sf torani, 2 babybel
L: grilled chicken tender and quest protein chips
D: pork chop, baby bel
S: volpi roll, peanut butter powder, iced coffee with half and half and splenda
calories 894, protein 131, carbs 27, fat 35

I have been in hiding for a while but wanted to let you know that I am reading your posts. I am under my goal weight which was 135. I am about 127. Glad to see some of you are still here and nice to meet you newer folks. You give me alot of ideas.
I have kinda been in a bad pattern for a week. Time to get on track. Will get a pic of me for my icon. I am not technically inclined LOL
Thank god this truly craptastic week is half over. 3 more days and then I get to . . . work the weekend. I have a deposition on Monday and I've been so busy this weekend I haven't been able to prep. sigh.
So just a little ***** from me. I've been 100% on plan and my weight is inexplicably going up every.single.day. Today was another .8. I know fluctuations are normal, but I've gained 4 lbs since last friday. I'm about ready to start pulling my hair out . . . it's nice and thick so if I pull it out, maybe I'll lose a lb or two . . .
TQOTD: This is Us and Chicago Fire are two that I watch. I used to watch Scandal religiously, but then it ventured into the absurd and I quit.
My plan:
B: 4.2 oz ground turkey, 1 oz cheddar cheese
S: SF latte
L: 4 oz chicken thigh
S: 3 oz shrimp and ****tail sauce
D: Steak
Totals: cal: 905; Protein: 115g; fat: 32, Carbs: 33g. If my scale goes up again tomorrow, I might throw in the towel and go on a binge . . . I've read that eating a candy bar or increasing carbs can break stalls or make you lose again, right???
For me it's a smallish margarita with chips and salsa... I'm afraid to try this trick too often LOL! As long as it's worked twice for me, that makes it REAL right?
