I love my Fitbits! I have 2, one I wear in the summer because I swim and the other has more rubust features, imho. There is a new model coming out that will finally be a heart monitor AND swim proof so I will be buying that when it's released.

I use my Fitbit with If This Than That technology which is also connected to my Aria Fitbit scale and my Thermos Smartlid which tracks my water and updates the info to my Fitbit.

In the morning when I wake up, I have programmed it to blink a living room light a specific color, which tells me fiance I am awake. I weigh myself on my Aria scale which takes the data, updates my Fitbit and writes the data to a Google Doc file that created to keep track outside of the Fitbit app. If my scale recordes a loss it also blinks a light in the living room as a celebration. I have programmed my Fitbit to send me hourly reminders to move as well as a 3 p.m. alarm to check my Daily Progress.

Not sleeping used to be a big issue for me and my Fitbit has really helped to turn that around. Making improvements with my sleep hygiene routine, I could see in real time how that affected my sleep by checking the Fitbit reports each day.

I use my iPhone and it has an app that counts my steps, says how many miles, and I try to get at least 10,000 steps in a day, preferably in the early morning. I've been out 11 years and am down to 114. I feel great and am healthy! I started out at 232. This is the biggest accomplishment in my life, other than having a child. Gastric bypass surgery was the biggest and best decision I've ever made and each day I thank goodness for all the wonderful things I can do now that I am "normal."

I have the fit*****arge 2 and the Zip. I keep my old Zip around for emergencies, like when my Charge 2 is not charged up or it decides not to work (happened several times when I had the Charge HR). I will always keep an emergency/backup fitbit on hand.

I am obsessed. I got mine after Bill had his stroke back in May 2015. At that time, I had stopped exercising because I had figured out that I did not need to exercise to maintain my weight. His stroke made me realize I had to be healthier. I have worn a fitbit every single day since then. I started with the Zip, then got the charge, then the charge hr, and now the Charge 2. My daughter has the Blaze, the One, and the Charge 2. Bill has the Charge HR and I just got him a new Charge 2. He gets his steps in every day now, too.

I like checking my heart rate and my sleeping habits. 90% of my family and friends have a fitbit. I am very competitive, so I like competing with them. I know there may be better trackers out there but I will stick to fitbit.

I have walked almost 12,000,000 steps for an average of around 13,500 steps a day. I feel better mentally when I get my steps in.

HERE is a good deal on the Charge 2 on ebay. You can get the colored bands very cheap on ebay or Amazon. I just got 10 bands for $24.
