Some shoulder pain. But I don't think it's related.

Don't write it off! It took me a long time to believe that my shoulder pain was related to surgery. It felt like I ripped muscles and it was impossible to move it in a circle--I went to PT and everything. Turns out it was 100% connected to the nerve and when I revised from the band to bypass it went away completely. Every now and then I have an "attack" of acid and I notice the shoulder pain comes back with it. But since it is so much less severe, it is actually recognizable this time.

Thanks. I do think it's sleep related. It's actually in both shoulders. Im a side sleeper and as is the case with most men, the majority of my excess weight was around my waist. Now it's gone and I'm a bit more V shaped rather than a U.

I also have a new back pain that wasn't there before. It's quite unpleasant at times. So I'm lookin good ? and obviously my health has taken a turn for the better but there is a decent amount of nagging pain. Cest la vie.

If it's left shoulder, it is probably related. The Vagus nerve runs from the base of the skull down through the diaphragm and into the top portion of the stomach.

I suffered from horrific left shoulder pain when I had the lapband. After removal, I had a year of sneezing until unconscious. I'd sneeze with such force and for such extended periods that I'd actually pass out. There's lot of info on the Vagus nerves. It really controls A LOT of functions in the body.

You'll want to be careful... maybe talk to your doc about it. Permanent Vagus nerve damage is really not fun at all. Good luck.

Thanks for all the replies. It's hard to believe there's not one thing in a Sephora that'll help us!

I really wish I didn't know the answer to that.

Congrats; you're doing great!

I use Palmer's Cocoa butter formula firming butter. It probably doesn't do anything for firming but i have dry skin and it feels lovely going on and smells like chocolate, lol. It also doesn't trigger my allergies, when so many creams and lotions do. I really love it.
