What's on your Monday Menu RNYers?
Good morning everyone- hope you had a great weekend. My hubby had a surprise party for me on Friday night (as predicted) and it was a lot of fun. Accountability stayed pretty good though. I missed my workout that day but I did go to the gym at lunch on Friday and did 20 minutes on the elliptical. I did 2 workouts on Saturday though to make up for it.
QOTD- what's a song on your playlist right now that you really love? I have been carpooling so 'm listening to all kinds of music I don't normally choose. Anyway I heard "Galway Girl" by Ed Sheeran and it's such a great song. Needless to say my kids were teasing me that I was listening to "new" music.
Menu:
B: Protein Shake
L: Chilli and a Greek yogurt
D: to be determined
s: Egg custard
E: Total Body Fix later today
Weight: the scale was up 4 lbs on Saturday to my dismay so back in the 180s. It's been creeping down and I'm 182.9 this morning. So disappointed to be back in the 180s
Have a great day everyone!
(Edited to correct all the weird subs from typing my original post on my phone)

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning Teena and the menu folks! The scale is such a fickle thing and it makes me crazy! I have been in a 2 week cycle where I am up and down within a few pounds. This morning I am thankfully down below 130 and within 5 pounds of my goal. I am really excited to be that close to my goal, but the daily ups and downs can really get to me. I always think that maybe this is the end of the loss, but eventually it has moved. I don't know what to expect of being at goal since I haven't been this weight in about 30 years. I just want to be in the Normal BMI range, which is 128 for my height (5') so I am close.
Yesterday was a very active day. I was bored in the morning so I went swimming for an hour. It felt great to be in the water! In the afternoon, I was supposed to go hiking with a friend, but she cancelled on me. In the end I decided to go alone even though it was a new trail and I'm always a bit nervous about doing new places alone. It was hot, but I had a good time being out and enjoying nature a bit.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: pork chop, TJ's Hodge Podge

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
Good for you on going on your own for the hike!
I can't believe you're almost at goal... seems like just a few weeks ago you were going in for surgery!
You're doing great! Don't let the small fluctuations on the scale get you down!
