Morning RNY'ers!! I'm pretty stoked this morning since I'm finally back in my weight comfort zone! Man it gets discouraging- and you start doubting if it's possible to get there again- but each time I would think about this site & all the experiences I've read; I'd tell myself nope- keep at it, it will work. Of course 1/2 my mind wants to say good, you got there, let loose on the eating once again. But reality is I've reached that sucky point (again) where I need to eat little less. So today will will be focused on not inhaling everything and undoing these past few weeks of hard work.

Qotd: I won a book in 4th grade and I've won $100 or less in the lottery a few times.

Howdy Everyone!!

Getting off to a late start but the scale is finally moving again. It seems like I lose for two weeks and then gain 1-2 from my low and then lose for another 2 weeks. That is the pattern so far. Which means I am due for 7-10 pounds coming off in the couple of weeks.

QOTD: I come from a family of lucky people who gamble and win. But you have to play to win!! My brother won a million dollars last year on a scratch off ticket, he won a major law suit and got another 300K last year. He won 50K this year. My mother won 600K on a slot machine a few years ago in Atlantic City. I am too chicken to gamble. My sister and I joke about this all the time that we are destined to be the worker bees. And my takeaway is there really isn't any justice in the world because you don't have to be a nice and generous person to win money... Just buy the lottery ticket.

Food for the day:

Coffee and protein shake 120 calories 23 grams protein

Lunch: Chicken breast, arugula salad and ff cheese misted with vinegar and olive oil

175 calories 25 grams protein

Dinner: Unsure but meat and veggies

Snack: Most likely yogurt with PB powder

good morning! I'm still ecstatic from reaching goal last week. Although I plan to lose at least 20 more. Terrified about maintenance... was always my downfall before.

I won the football pool at work once and some scholarships . My mother in law was an incredibly lucky person. She used to like to bet on the horses...and was an absolute maniac about the lottery. She won several times. Once she won 200 by playing the number of the hospital room I was in.

B. Ham steak and 1 oz of cheese

L. Protein drink and coffee

S. Hummus

D. Not sure yet...have my brother and sister in-law their dog and cat staying with me... They had a fire in their house yesterday.my brother's a mandolin player so we have plenty of good music.

Good to hear from everybody. Enjoy your Sunday. Nancy

This morning I had a protein shake and I just had some juice and chicken broth for lunch. Day 1 of 5 liquid diet before surgery on Friday.

It's a bit of a struggle today but I'm managing.

Hey y'all! My Sunday food is three protein shakes (breakfast, lunch, snack) and then pasta-less lasagna made with zucchini. It's a new recipe I found, so I can't say how it will turn out, but the ingredients are pretty great! :)

I have won a few minor drawings for grab bags long ago when I went to Weigh****chers. lol Can't recall what was in them.

Back home from a great cruise and back to my normal everyday food. Today like most days..greek yogurt with bran, roast beef with mustard, coffee with milk, and some beef jerky. Probably some banana and peanut butter tonight.

I lost 4 lbs on the cruise. I think I just need to live on the boat.

I've won so many things. No money or prizes but I hit the jackpot this life.

I'm glad you had a good time. If cruises work like that for weight loss, I'll sign up!

Good evening - very late post for me today. My niece and her daughter came for a visit this morning. After lunch my best friend came over so we could can salsa. We just got the last of it out of the scanner about 20 minutes ago. We got 43 pints of salsa canned.

QOTD: I paid for a square on a football pool when I was in my 20's and won like $150.00. At work I bought 2 raffle tickets on a gun raffle (a benefit for a co-worker). In the last four years we have had four of these gun raffles for different co-workers going thru tough times (3 of them for cancer), and I always buy one or two tickets. Two weeks ago I got a text saying that I had won one of the 14 guns on the raffle. I won a Sig Sauer P320 carry 9mm, it is a $500.00 gun. I was really excited. I got to pick it up last week.

Today's menu:

L - Spinach salad with tuna pouch, Greek ranch dressing

D - Tilapia, spinach salad with Walden farms dressing

S- Decaf Iced coffee with 1/2 scoop protein powder and SF creamer X 2

S2 - 13 tortilla chips with salsa...taste testing :(
