What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
welcome to the weekend!
i woke up to the poor dog having puked on the couch! Hope he got it all out of his system...
qotd: what is your favourite vacation you've ever been on? Family or otherwise? Family wise, it was just a simple day trip to the Hershey chocolate Factory. We had so much fun! I'll have to try and find the photos, we literally filled a small album we took so many pics..
The other one that comes to mind was when I was living in Belfast and booked a weekend up to the north coast. I spent the days walking the coast line, and the nights in this time pub that did a shut in, and people were drinking, playing music and chatting until sunrise.
accountability: on point!
Menu:
B: coffee and premier
L/D: tbd!
have a good one!

Good morning :)
Today is my sister's wedding. I'm happy that the day is finally here but I'm going to miss the puppies. They are going for a sleepover tonight. I don't know if any food will be provided today so I have brought lots of snacks and water flavourings.
QOTD: I think my favourite recent vacation was going to Ireland last summer. We stayed in Dublin for most of the week as I had a conference. We found an awesome AirBNB that was a separate area in a walled garden and had a studio setup with a bed area, livingroom, bathroom and kitchenette. I used to love going to California when I was a kid. My grandpa had a business and family there so we went quite a bit. I want to go back so badly!!
Post-op two years, six months
Breakfast - Greek yogurt
Snack - bacon jerky
Lunch - ham and cheese
Snack - turkey bites
Dinner - chicken and tbd.... Depends what's served
Snack - turkey bites
All water and vits.
Happy Saturday. We are hoping for some clearing today after four days of Tropical storm Jose hanging around. The doggies need a walk!
Interesting article which someone put up on FB (I think that is where - read it yesterday but can't remember where. I had to search for it this morning!): http://100down.org/the-whoosh-effect/
QOTD: Italy!!!! We went to Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Venice and the Amalfi coast for our 30th anniversary (6 years ago). I'd go back in a heartbeat. We want to go to Paris next year before DH's Alzheimer's is too advanced. I'm expecting to love it just as much.
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 34 work days to retirement (11/13).

Yes this really made sense to me based on my weight loss history.

Mornin' weekenders!
Blew it yesterday. Not bad food, but too much. I was O****il we went out to dinner - WAY over on calories. I have to watch it this weekend, but since DH is insisting we go to Milwaukee for the weekend after a brunch meeting this morning, this is going to be a challenge. (why Milwaukee, you ask? This weekend is "Open Doors Milwaukee", where a couple hundred buildings that aren't usually open to the public are open. We went last year and really enjoyed it)
QOTD: This is an odd thing to say since we've done a lot of international traveling, but the trip that immediately came to mind was a short trip (maybe four days?) we took to Austin, TX several years ago. We absolutely loved Austin, and we stayed at this really unique, fun hotel with themed rooms. (I just looked it up - oh poo - someone else bought it and they got rid of the themed rooms!! It was the Austin Motel - http://austinmotel.com/ )
2 years 3 months out:
B: Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries
S: coffee with half & half
Brunch (11:00-ish): Caesar salad with chicken (I'll give the muffin and breadsticks that come with it to DH)
D: I have no idea. Something safe and protein-forward for sure!!)
